I'm mid way through Ikki Tousen series 2. Now listening to these VA's I'm missing the ones from series 1 haha. I'm happy to know they return for series 3 & 4!

I don't like this series as much so trying to get through it as quick as possible!

In my opinion I think season 2 is the best out of the 4

Right there with you on that AF, I've seen seasons 1-3 and 2 definitely felt the strongest to me.

Funnily enough

The first one felt like it was giving me a history lesson
The second one felt like pure entertainment
The third felt like the 4th one .....making no scene...........but the fan services was decent

well i've not seen 3 or 4 yet but maybe before i buy them i'll give 2 a second watch when im done the first time. it took me ages to get into 1 so maybe after ive watched it i will be like hey this is good lol. i think it just through me that nanyou isn't centre stage sort of thing now, i duno :)

And they changed her voice actor which throws me off.

I love the opening to the first season tho

Tokyo Ghoul - Episode 2

Dat OP. Love it.
Also, since when did Funimation's casts have English translations for songs? (Well, just the OP in this case)

Tokyo Ghoul (Japanese Dub) - Episode 1 (Re-watch)

Looks like I can stream perfectly fine on Wakanim (Non-HD but the resolution, I presume 480p, is good enough for me). Interestingly the OP lyrics are subtitled at the end.

Terror of Resonance page is up but the episodes aren't added yet. Episode 2 of Tokyo Ghoul isn't up either.

Zankyou no Terror - Episode 1

Well ****. Didn't expect that at all from this show.
I very much look forward to next week.

I'd also like to point out that AllTheAnime have picked up the three shows I've enjoyed most from the first episodes this season, thus further cementing my opinion that Andrew has good taste when it comes to licensing shows.

While I got further with the Ranma manga than with the anime (it being more readily available back then), it did strike me that, for all the apparent wackiness, it never seemed as funny as it should have been. I think it did work better in anime form, and I do slightly regret not having stuck with it for long enough to see some of the dafter characters who turned up in the games, but yeah - I feel UY probably holds up a lot better than Ranma now. Might give it another look if it was streamable, but it's not one I feel any great desire to own.
As great as the anime designs are, I actually think Ranma, like Maison Ikkoku, works better in manga form. Takahashi's comic timing is impeccable and much of it is lost in the adaptations because they tend to stretch the material too thinly. There are lots of time-wasting shots and pans and so on. UY had a similar problem once it moved to the one-story-per-episode format but got away with it most of the time due to the sheer amount of inspired crazy added by the animators. Ranma just isn't that funny, unfortunately.

Persona 4: The Golden Animation - Episode 1

Not really convinced that this needs to exist after that first episode. I didn't appreciate the even sillier initial summoning either.

Legendary Ninja Cats - Episodes 49 & 50

Still makes me laugh out loud :D

RahXephon: Episodes 1 - 5

I put off buying this for years as many people called it an bad imitation of Evangelion etc, and for those who know me, am a pretty big Evangelion fan.

One of my favourites, I've seen RahXephon a number of times now, to me it seems to be one of those shows that people either love or hate. There are similarities to Evangelion (which I think is a weak argument against it) but it soon develops its own identity IMHO.
