Of course I enjoy them, which is why I like to marathon them ....or try too, I want to see what happens next, I want to know, it's not that I rush though them because I want to finish them but to see what's going to happen

I sit through three episodes of people I don't care about talking about things I don't care about - sometimes while walking in circles, at other times sitting or standing perfectly still - barely remaining conscious. Episode 4 brings the first proper battle and a welcome respite from the excruciatingly pedestrian direction... BUT EVERYONE TALKS ALL THE WAY THROUGH IT. I can tell this was adapted from a novel because take away the occasionally interesting visuals and it feels like someone's reading at me.

I was talking with a friend of mine who recently watched the show and yeah, the first few episodes are a bit of a drag (especially the first one). Definitely worth pushing trough though.

High School DxD 1-9

People talk about the story being the saving grace of this show. I have to wonder whether we're watching the same thing because DxD is the usual teen magical fantasy junk with mostly flat (er, in the personality sense) characters. The thing became much more tolerable - even enjoyable - when the first story arc was done and the characters then goofed off for four episodes. My spidey sense tells me we're in for a dramatic finale, though, which makes me apprehensive about carrying on. Maybe I'll just leave it here. Still, it's more entertaining than F/Z, and dat ending animation.

I'd say it's more because it's a show with both boobs and plot, not that the plot is good (although a friend of mine read the light novels and said that compared to them, the anime is ****).
 
I'm on episode 12 and this is almost like the gundam which I find boring .........I'm starting to feel how people feel about macha anime ......but some of them are ok like giant robo

Polnareff's Disturbing Bathroom Misadventure - ep10

Crikey. With the exception of toilet pig, that was the best episode yet - feels like they've really upped their game now.

It took a while for it to sink in that Avdol is properly pan bread this time. Given how prominently he features as the gang traipses around the various locales in the opening sequence, I was sure he'd be around for a while yet, if only to let him confront Dio again and show that he was no coward.

My Little Monster minute 3.5 - I don't know why, but I totally lost it when Yoshida jumped out of the window. Full on irl lols. Tomatsu Haruka's utterly entrancing narration reminds me I shouldn't spend this long away from anime again.
 
Someone said My Little Monster!? Hahaha, yeah trust, it's full of in reals lols. And as for the manga, no I haven't started yet, I'm waiting till a few more volumes are released I think. But man, this show is just under Shenmue on my list of unfinished things I want finished. How the hell did it fail to light Japan on fire?

Watched the first three episodes now, I will say this is one of your stronger recommendations. It seems to skirt the borders of a few different genres, but instead of feeling like a bit of a hodge-podge it does them all well. I was trying to keep track of specific moments to reference, but there are too many of them!
 
Shin Sekai Yori e.4 - Yeah, it was three episodes I'd watched originally, I'd remember if I'd watched this one I think. ^^; Several things that were hinted at confirmed, several other things still up in the air. I'd be surprised if this was the last episode I came out of feeling the same way!
