I'd watch it Pokémon if it was more serious, had no filler or even related to the games more like the origin. every episode is basically filler apart from the gym battles an ash wins by some stupid move or team rocket interfere with the match. And also he never wins any of the leagues. Also I hate the way the movies and the series don't relate to each other. It could be so so so much better but they just want it to go on forever so they can make money off it.

I know pokemons a kids show but the least they could do is respect kids intelligence and make the story more more more.........there's a word somewhere but I can't put my finger on it. But he did the Orange islands cup....... I think.

Anyways the reason why they make him lose the leagues is because it's a life lessons....... you may fail over and over but keep trying and one day you'll be the best or achieve your goal.

And I have to agree with what you said bout the movies not relating to the series, the one thing that pisses me off is when they take a movie pokemon and put it in the series like mewtwo or celibe you know because when a legendary pokemon is in a movie it makes it seem more spectacular.

But they tell the same story over and over, I wouldn't mind if they did something different in some cases they do like the two pokemon on the field thing or the Orange islands competitions.

The the first 151 looked like they at least looked like they was based on actual animals and other things some of the new ones * some of them look half assed * but maybe that's the nostalgia talking

I stopped after the Unova League because the Black/White season was disappointing (although a lot of that has to do with the original Team Plasma story having to be scrapped due to the Tohoku Earthquake). I hear XY is better though. With the anime, of course they want it to go on for as long as they can, because the anime is basically a glorified advert for the video games. In regards to the movies not relating to the series, about half of them have been referenced in one way or another in the main series since (the most notable one being movie 8).

It definitely is the nostalgia. For comparison, Generation I had Pokémon like Voltorb and Electrode, whereas Generation VI has some really creative designs such as Greninja and Xerneas.

Also, just watched Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions -Heart Throb- 8. I have to say, the Nibutani-Dekomori episodes are truly the highlight of this season.

Pokemon - Episodes 1 + 2

I've never really actually seen much of the anime. I remember seeing a few episodes when I was younger like the battle against Sabrina.
The voice acting is sometimes painfully bad though.

Did anyone else notice the mistake in the Pokerap at the end of the first episode? Poliwag appears twice in it - once as Poliwrath then once again as Poliwag.

Josh pls. That title makes me vomit a little everytime I see or hear it.

Yup, there were loads of errors like that done on the English side. One episode of the Advanced series even said Arbok evolves into Seviper xD

I feel silly typing Chunibyo demo Koi ga Shitai! Ren when an English title is available though.

721 (although two of them have yet to be officially revealed).

Can you imagine the pokemon rap to name all of them if there was 1000 pokemon, remember that rap where they named all 150 pokemon, I bet they'd give up a quarter of the way.

I'll be honest I don't think I'd be able to watch every single episode and movies and God knows what else of pokemon unless there's nothing else to watch........ it was fun when we had it on game boy back in the day.

Anyways guy I need your help with something,

I'm watching glass fleet with my mum and next after that we're watching DUSK maiden and I have thought about persona 4 but iv already seen in a few days ago so

I need your help which series she can watch because she likes to watch them every night.......... I guess this calls for me to buy more anime

Anyways any ideas

I understand the life lessons but I cant see ash winning any time soon. Also his starter pokemon never evolve into the final form except for some. It doesn't make sense though he cant be average pokemon but then goes to the battle frontier and beast all 3 regis like it was nothing. I just want to know the connection between Ash and Ho-Oh That's the only thing that im interested in now tbh...

What can you do tho altho it is funny when you have an UNevolved pokemon that's as powerful as most powerful evolved pokemon, ash just lets them evolve if they want to and if they do they do If they don't want to the don't if I remember correctly bubasure didn't want to evolve nor does pikachu they refused to evolve.

Wait ash has a connection to hooh, mmmmm yes that is interesting

I just call it Chunibyou. It's not like that's a common word in anime titles.
+1

Tonari no Seki-kun episode 9. Wasn't crazy about this weeks episode, but it was fun seeing another side of Rumi's personality. She didn't even attempt to ignore Seki-kun this week!

Yes he sees him in the 1st episode and about three other times and it always 'inspires' him to carry on

Monogatari Second Season ep 24-26 *complete*. I literally cannot wait for +a (Hanamonogatari) to arrive. Or Kizumonogatari, whichever they make first.

Pupa ep 8. This gets worse with every episode. If it was longer than five minutes I would have dropped it long ago. I keep watching it in the hope that it will suddenly improve, but I know that won't happen.

Tonari no Seki-kun ep 9. I learned more about knitting in five minutes than I ever expected to learn in a lifetime. The amount of detail it went into made it feel like I was watching a sports anime. Great stuff.

The Pilot's Love Song 9

Ignacio stole this ep away from everyone. "Excuse me, I'm borrowing this idiot."
Argggh, they're keeping us hanging with the whole Princess and the Pilot connection, I hope it's not just a big tease. As expected, Kal finds out that Claire is Nina and the fallout begins. The sheer pace of the adaptation means we're moving on quite quickly though. The kiss was really well done, so the subsequent heartbreak hit double. I really do like Kal and Claire as a couple and the series works at its best when it focuses on the two of them.

The Pilot's Love Song's execution has definitely suffered in comparison to The Princess and the Pilot, having to adapt a more sprawling and less simple story with what appears to be a lower budget. However, it does have a lot of heart and some fine character work, so I'll definitely be looking forward to seeing how it wraps up.

Tonari no Seki-kun 9

Yokoi was amazing this episode.

Pokemon 8-9

Pokemon + Netflix is an addictive combination. Ep 8 (The Path to the Pokemon League) was never one of my favourites, but Ep 9 (The School of Hard Knocks) I was always fond of. Next up, the starter Pokemon trilogy. Time to find some Squirtle Squad sunglasses.

Yeah I saw him in ep 1 too. I just thought it was a coincidence and to be honest was a very clever idea not having him in the first 151 because it inspires people to think I wonder what new pokemon there will be.

I don't think there's a system to have every single pokemon and name them all,

Cause if there was it would be the best pokemon game ever ever because you'd go though the first 150 and have explanations why there are certain pokemon that isn't in certain regions cause I think they should explain why that is like-

They originated from that region like Australian animals are the only animals you can find in Australia if you know what I mean

Watched episode 5 of the Senran Kagura anime. The way this adaptation handles exposition is frankly, the worst I've seen. For those who haven't seen it, whole backstories are told to us by a narrator. Really - it's that bad.
