Your viewing journal

So over the last few days I've watched:

Berserk Movie 2 (Dub) + Outakes
Blazblue Alter Memory - Ep 7
Daily Lives of High School Boys - Eps 1 - 4
Golden Time - Eps 7 + 8
Jojo's Bizarre Adventure (2012) - Eps 1 - 4
Kara no Kyoukai - Movie 3 "Remaining Sense of Pain" (Rewatch)
Kill La Kill - Ep 8
Kyoukai no Kanata - Ep 8
Pokemon Origins - Ep 2 (Dub)
Psycho Pass - Eps 1 + 2 (Rewatch)
Samurai Flamenco - Ep 7 (What the hell did I watch?)

I'm personally think that from what I've seen of each show this season, Golden Time and Kill La Kill are definitely the best. Flamenco is that one show which I never really want to watch each week but enjoy it regardless, and Kyoukai no Kanata has the best ED hands down.

Wait there's outakes?
I'm assuming you have the kaze disc which, as usual, comes with absolutely nothing in the way of extras.
Viz's release contains about 15 mins worth of dub outakes (Or bloopers/cockups/alternate dubs if you may), JP cast interviews, an art gallery and some other stuff.
It also works on region B players if you hit Top Menu when the region lock screen comes up.

I've only gotten the first film on disc but it's nice to see some outtakes return like they had with the TV series.

Daily Lives of High School Boys - Episodes 5 + 6
Fate/Zero - Episodes 9 - 13 (DUB)

<3 Fate/Zero so much. This is my third or forth time watching the first half of the series and It's always amazing.
The wait for Box 2 is far too long.

One Piece episodes 92-94

Kill La Kill episode 8

So she's supposed to fight all four of the elite one after the other? Wasn't entirely clear on that.

Got to wondering if the villains in this are really the actual villains & if there is more to this than meets the eye.

Kill la Kill - ep8

Slightly disappointing after last week's. I think after ep7's preview, a lot of people were hoping Gamagoori's driving would be more akin to the 'Goku's driving license' episode of DBZ. Would have been nice to see them do more with the automotive airsoft club as well. When they turned up, I was really hoping for some car-borne combat in the vein of Mad Max.

How is Kill la Kill 2-cours again? It easily feels like a 1-cour at the moment.

i can answer that i think, and it feels kind of obvious. Think of it this way. beating satsuki may reveal where the blade is, but she doesn't have it. As such, we have a second wave of bad guys to fight. So far there has been no signs to show that she has the blade, so obviously whoever has it is still to be revealed.

Also, expect the inexpected. It is trigger.

It's Mako isn't it? All this speculation I've seen about Maki being the big bad xD

Actually, a lot of the speculation I've seen has switched to 'Mako dies at the half-way mark'. Either way, it seems unlikely that Satsuki is the end boss.

Well logically she should have been dead already with the amount of damage done to her, but I guess they plan on doing it like Gurren Lagann did before that show's halfway point.

Now that would be one hell of a plot twist and tone changer.
