Samurai Flamenco 1-6 - Finally sat down earlier today and got this watched. It's got a fairly so-so first episode or two but gets going quite nicely after that. I really enjoy the premise, and it completely threw me on what it was actually about. I had thoughts that it may feel a little Tiger & Bunny like, but it's nothing of the sort. It's pretty good fun, and it's a nice take on the whole public view on superheroes, are they needed, what they mean kind of thing. Worth a watch i'd say.

Yeah, I pretty much fall into the same boat. I was expecting some sort of Tiger & Bunny idea, but what we've actually ended up with is far more interesting. It's not my favourite of the season, and it's not an amazing show, but it's certainly doing everything right for the type of show it is. I just need to remember to keep up with watching it a bit better.

Fate/Zero - Episode 1 - 8 (Dub)

Okay, I DID say that this, (Like all Type moon stuff), needed to be watched with the JP dub first, but I'll give it to Aniplex. the dub is actually pretty good. The only one's that I had any real issues with are Lancer and Gilgamesh (Although I can't help but thinking of Igor from Persona whenever Caster speaks).

Such a shame that Aniplex decided to give us DD 2.0 192kbps Audio for the dub track rather than LPCM, or even a 640kbps track like SAO. It's strange, especially considering that the JP Dub is LPCM, and I thought that would be the crippled track if any, not that I'm complaining of course.

Samurai Flamenco Episode 7 - Well that was unexpected. This has caused a huge ruckus i've noticed and i can understand why. It's not the worst decision ever, but it certainly feels a little unnecessary. I can't help but feel though that not all is as it seems. Somethings off, as if it's deliberately done to make the viewer shocked. not sure how better i can explain it. I just need to see more as it goes on.

Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet OVAs 1 & 2: While I would have much rather the OVA episodes were set after the end of the first season, they did explain a few things that the plot never actually did. Worthwhile giving a watch if you cared for the series or its characters in the slightest. The first one is set very early on in the series though and it's very weird watching Ledo rely on Chamber again loosely for translation when, by the end of the series, he was speaking perfectly fine with the people of Gargantia without Chamber.

Beyond the Boundary episode 8: Okay start to what I assume is the final arc. Can't say I didn't predict a great deal of what's happening, but eh, it's still an okay enough show and I want to see it through to the end now.

Tokyo Ravens Episode 7: Six months have passed between this episode and lasts, feels like a huge time-skip even if not much has, apparently, happened during that length of time. Doesn't feel like the series has that much left to offer at this point.

Valvrave the Liberator Season 2 Episode 7: Still a really strong series, wasn't expecting L-elf to live at all, especially near the end. Then again Haruto is idiot enough to go back for him even if it cost them both their lives. xD I was pretty certain Liselotte was going to die from the off, felt like a Valvrave thing to do, but man I thought she'd last a couple more episodes. All in all I've been happy with what the series is doing. ^^

Kill la Kill (Japanese Dub via Wakanim UK) - Episode 8
Samurai Flamenco (Japanese Dub via Wakanim UK) - Episode 7

WTF just happened in the last five minutes, in comparison to the last seven episodes that was just plain random.

Last Exile -Fam, The Silver Wing- (English Dub via Funimation BD) - Episodes 1-3

I'm quite surprised by the visuals, it looks outdated but it fits with the series. The music is also great too. The plot is not that bad either, though I know it will never match the first season. Also, Greg Ayres?!
I'm also amused by Fam's full name - Fam Fan Fan. Reminds me of that YouTube clip with Azurite's freakout saying Fun Fun Fun on that Japanese game.

Watamote (Japanese Dub via Crunchyroll) - Episode 5
Servant x Service (Japanese Dub via Crunchyroll) - Episode 7

I've forgotten how much I loved this series (profile pic to celebrate that funny scene), CR's streaming keeps stopping on me which is why I haven't made progress on Genshiken Second Season, Gintama, Kuroko's Basketball, Servant x Service and Watamote.
