Tiger & Bunny - Episodes 14-25 (Dub)

Well damn... This second part of the series was actually so damn good - same for the dub. Watched the whole thing in one sitting.
Would highly recommend Tiger & Bunny to anyone who hasn't watched any of it yet.

Badly want to see this show but I was gonna hold out for a boxset. I am hearing rumours its not sold that well though so its probably not gonna happen. TBH I think this has more to do with Kaze's 4 volume release than anything else (7 eps for £27+ ) but I am at least waiting till the whole show is out before buying.

Well, more like 7 episodes for £23.

But if you think about it, the latest Hellsing Ultimate release was only made up of 4 50 minute episodes (so, technically it's like 8 standard ones) and that was about £22 for a pretty basic release in comparison to Tiger & Bunny which has a nice case and physical extras.

If you want to see it that badly then import Viz's sets.
You get Bluray extras, Better Video and English Subs for Songs that way too.

Edited: They are. Unfortunately I don't have a multi region Blu-ray. Damn!

The Aussie release might be what you're looking for. Region B, two parts instead of four, has the disc extras of the US release and the books of the UK release, and actually works out cheaper than both. Part 1 is in stock at DevotedDVD, though part 2 seems to be out of stock at the moment, I'd keep an eye on the page to see if it comes back.

The Princess and the Pilot

I thought this was really charming. I really liked both the lead characters, the story was well-told and the animation was gorgeous. The book that came with it was really cool too, was interesting to hear some of the other works cited as influences on the film such as Roman Holiday.

I agree, I'm disappointed with Kaze's release schedule, there is no way I'm paying over £100 for a 26 episode TV series, I was going to buy them from the US, but I may look at the Aussie release now.

Awww, hell no! What in the world was that? What is wrong with this show?! It gets onto something good and then just wants to go and ruin it all in the interest of some stupid incest niche audience.

I'm with you, man. That could've been one of the most heartwarming episodes of anime I've ever seen. Instead it was one of the most heartbreaking. But it's not like I didn't see it coming three or four episodes back ;_;
