Dragonball Z 40-45

Starting to get good now :)

It's only starting to get good at that point? :? Did you miss the whole Vegeta showing up, Tien's arm getting punched off, Piccolo being awesome Piccolo and loads of other stuff that came before it?

F (F-エフ) ep1

I'm rather disappointed no-one has translated this '80s racing series into English; for a tv production of its time, the art and animation seem good and the show is enjoyably daft.

This episode sees the main character write-off his turbocharged tractor while trying to a race a BMW down the highway. :)

I remember a segment on AWO about F, although I believe it was a listener-submitted review rather than anything from the Big Three. As with most things that have been mentioned on that podcast, I had my interest piqued, but never did get around to looking into it properly.

Ah, don't think I've caught that one. It seems to be one of those things that's more readily available in other parts of Europe (in fact, I think Teonzo might have mentioned it one time), so I dunno if it might be easier to pick up a Spanish or Italian release if you're interested.

BLUE TRACTOR FTW!!!
I literally rotfled (nice verb) when I watched the first bunch of episodes ages ago. Problem is I missed the final episodes both times when the series was aired (pre-internet days were a PITA).

Nice memory, sir!
The series has been released on 2 boxsets here:
http://www.amazon.it/Motori-In-Pista-Box-Dvd/dp/B00423BG7W
http://www.amazon.it/Motori-In-Pista-Box-Dvd/dp/B0043H9VYC
sooner or later I'll get them. Unfortunately the publisher (Yamato Video) is well known for the crappy quality of their releases (they are much worse than Manga UK).

Interesting, I shall bookmark those pages for future reference. Thanks guys.

Kokoro Connect - ep 4

You know, Tachi could end up with a harem end if he keeps up being completely oblivious

More seriously though, another really good episode with some nice character development for Iori and Himeko. The whole situation at the end made me do a huge double take before bursting out in laughter. I really do like how this mixes seriousness with comedy, but neither of them feels that forced to me (just yet anyway)

Right, decided it was time to do a mass watch/completion run the next couple of days, so here's what i've started with.

Hyouka 18-19 - I think these are probably some of the best episodes in the series so far. Both where single stories but they where executed fairly well. And what's more, they finally decided to work on some character development as well, which was kind of lacking up until now. Mind you, i say that, it wasn't really required considering the nature of the series itself. 19 was a cute and fairly snazzy idea for an episode: Having Oreki basically teach Chitanda how he makes his theories was fun, even if he did try to make them sound outlandish(and in the end, be right). It was a good chance to see some proper relationship development too between them, as it was never touched on before

Only two more episodes =/ At least the OVA is due as well.

Moretsu Pirates - Complete - Yes i've finally got round to finishing it. Great series overall, and what's more, they've left it open to a lot. I know a movie is scheduled for release, but i can see a second season fired off as well, it has certainly got the potential. It was stale in places here and there early on, but once the ball got rolling, it certainly was worth the watch. I'd certainly recommend it if you where curious.

Think i'm considering either blitzing the rest of the new Lupin series or watching the end of Sakamichi no Apollon. One i expect i'll enjoy, the other i'll probably end up ranting about, but they both need to be dealt with.
