Mobile Suit Gundam AGE - Episode 38

An OK episode, my main problem with AGE is that everything feels just a little contrived.

Space Brothers - Episode 14

I really enjoy watching Space Brothers.

Muv Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse - Episode 1

This had got slated in a few previews I had read, but I actually quite enjoyed it, yes it's very generic, the flight suit fan-service is un-necessary but I love the dark tone of the show.

Eureka Seven AO - Episodes 11 & 12

Another great series and episode 12 knows exactly the right buttons to push.

Sound of the Sky 1-6

Oh man, I wish I had this on Blu-ray. A-1 Pictures' animation is up to their usual standard, with a focus on movement at the cost of a little consistency in character rendering (but that's okay), and it's clear that a lot of work went into creating a memorable setting.

The characters are likeable, despite mainly conforming to familiar archetypes.

So far the tone has been light-hearted, but the odd hint of something darker and more dramatic leaves me wondering about the direction the show will take in its second half.

shin koihime muso disc 2 - this series has both a healing factor, moe and fan service and i likey ^_^

Humanity Has Declined episode 1

Okay, I love this show already. Fairies discussing if starving to death will be the next fad, plucked headless chickens running around and carrot bread committing suicide...definitely my kind of show xD

The show looks absolutely beautiful when upscaled using a blu-ray player; far better than a lot of the native HD blu-rays I own.

If a bu-ray release ever happens, I would not hesitate in throwing my money at whoever releases it.

Also it's funny that I ended up talking about Sound of the Sky in this post, as I felt that HHD had a very Sound of the Sky-ish feel to it.

Arcana Famiglia 1-2

Episode 1's pacing was a jerky and episode 2 was pointless fluff, but I'm still enjoying this series. The attractive character designs help a lot.

Kokoro Connect 1

Bleh, I can see the appeal of this show but it doesn't work for me at all. Dropped.

Utakoi 1

This, however, was perfect and pushed all of my buttons. I enjoyed it from start to finish; there's not much more to say. The art style is also appealing.

Sword Art Online 1

A pleasant surprise. I'd been expecting the worst after years of seeing the same kind of premise from the various .hack shows but SAO ended up having a very different feel. I look forward to watching further.

I need to squeeze Natsuyuki Rendezvous in next rather than just watching Kuroko No Basuke <_<;

Humanity has Declined 2.

More interesting than the first episode, and the art style didn't bother me quite as much. Main character girl makes me chuckle.

The Nozomi release looks decent upscaled, but having watched mainly HD anime lately the difference between Blu-ray and these DVDs is plain to see. If you have the Beez version that should look better due to the higher resolution of PAL.
