Yesterday watched 2nd season of Negima from episode 7-24
Today 25-26 and started Tenchi universe upto episode 8 probably watch upto 13-16 tonight.

Oreimo 7-12

I'll be honest, I think Kirino is a bit of a bitch. I mean, Kyosuke has done so much for her and lost so much face to cover for her (the scene early on in the series with their father kinda takes the cake for that) and she responds in her usual roundabout, but bitchy-fronted way. Shame Kyosuke isn't perfect with Manami either.

Personally, I think the majority of the show's cast are pretty self-absorbed. If it wasn't for the interaction between all of these strong personalities, I probably would have hated the show...but instead I really enjoyed it and found myself genuinely laughing out loud (which is a problem when you're watching at 2am and your Mum's bedroom is just across the hall).

I have to say that my favourite characters have to be Manami and her grandparents. At first I was indifferent to Kuroneko, but I am glad that we got to see another side of her - something which I could relate to. That made Kuroneko really grow on me. I wish we had more chances to get to know Saori though; she came across as rather plain.

Also, I fecking loved how at the end, Kirino and Kyosuke's father's eyes slowly went to the TV when Kirino's anime was on xD.

Agree on this, Kirino seems to be worshipped by many anime fans - I found her to be pretty detestable. She really soured my opinion on the whole series.

I'm not regretting putting my pre-order in with RightStuf - if anything, I've watched the series, so now I will pay for it. My original plan was to only watch one episode to see if I liked it, then wait for the DVD but I ended up hooked - I'll hold off on the OVAs though.

I had to laugh at Kuroneko and Saori's reactions when as a present, Kirino bought Kyosuke an eroge - it was pretty much my reaction.

I wouldn't say the series is great, but if I had to post about in the "rate the last anime you watched out of 10" thread, I would probably give it a 7. It was enjoyable, it got some good laughs out of me, but Kirino's bitchiness became tiring in the second half.

I honestly would have preferred if say, Kuroneko was the lead female instead. The brief glimpse of how her younger siblings reacted when catching her in "otaku mode" could have made some really humorous scenes if expanded on. She also seemed to soften up as the series went on, which was development Kirino really needed more of (she had some, but her bitchiness countered it).

I liked Kuroneko, she made the series somewhat enjoyable in between Kirino's bouts of whining and bitching.

I think the OVA/True Ending episodes focus on Kuroneko, but I haven't seen them yet. Sadly I can't say I enjoyed the series enough to want to order the new standard edition or the upcoming Madman release. If it ever hits the UK, I'll probably pick it up though.

Just one more thing on Kuroneko - she's now got her own spinoff manga, so if you enjoy her character that much, it could be worth checking out.

I'm watching basilisk and I swear if naruto was in this show I don't think he could change anyone I'm on the edge of my seat I can't atop my self from watching it it's that intense

Lupin III: Dat Fujiko Episode 10

That episode didn't make much sense...but was still awesome. So Fujiko was the subject of human experimentation?! That was a twist I wasn't expecting. Also, isn't this the first episode where Fujiko didn't appear in person?

If you're just at the start, stick with it. The lead characters are all whiny and annoying to begin with but as things progress it becomes amazing. Also one of the best characters appears later :D

Also, Witchblade is cooler than it deserves to be. I think it will surprise you.
