Beck 11-18 (volumes 3 & 4).

In the orginal Japanese version, several characters speak fluent (or near enough) English. Why, then, are the song lyrics so bad?

Large lips in the motion
Trying to keep blaming on
As I say reason I'm late on
Find you turning
Laughing and smiling

STOP MANGLING MY LANGUAGE, JAPAN.

It's no worse then when typical
English person mangles their own language
in fact it's better most definitely

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya season 2 episodes 10-13

I really enjoyed these episodes especially episode 12 as my favourite character Tsuruya-San finally appears and near the end of the episode she says Omochikaeri~ which Rena from Higurashi says

I'm up to 12/13 of School Rumble.

I like it, though I liked it more near the start when the three stories per episode were more random and didn't link together like one big episode with three titles.

Comedy isn't my thing - I haven't truly laughed once during the episodes and I wouldn't watch it if I didn't own the DVDs - but even I have to admit to enjoying it a lot. The story is easy to understand, the personalities of the cast are easy to get and the short stories are often very entertaining. It's refreshing to see a series with episodes not forced to last for 20 minutes, the content instead being split into shorter, three stories per episode chunks. It reminds me of Fumoffu; a series with two stories per episode.

So far I've gotten great value for money. I may not remember much after watching but the ride has been a highly enjoyable one up to yet. I can see me wanting to buy the second season after finishing the first. It's worthy of its high rating on MAL.

It gets less good unfortunately not by much though
and comedy is my thing.

I like the pretend ending in the anime version though
so much so I like to pretend it is the ending.

Found some time last night to get some anime watched:

Gintama 29 - not much needed to be said that hasn't been said about previous episodes, still a great laugh

Spice and Wolf II 3 - i can see where this is going and i have a rough idea of how this arc will conclude from the extracts i've read in the 3rd novel, however it doesn't take away from the fact that it was a very solid episode. Have 4 + 5 set for watching tonight. I'm still tied for which closing i prefer, season 1 or 2, since they are both good.

FMA: Brotherhood 21 - again, enjoyable and i felt it did a decent job on the characters here, though maybe it could have done a bit more. 22 looks promising, so will have to see how it pans out tonight.

Some porn wasn't very good
That belongs in 'What are you Watching' in the Movies and TV subforum, since it's not anime related. Unless it was Hentai, in which case at least tell us what it was.

Some people are so obsessed about mention that particular "series" over and over again :p

He might have been watching Magical Girl Ai, Jiburiru or even Inyouchu for all you know ;)

Just finished watching Stand Alone Complex this morning. Episode 25 was so sad.... that bit when the Tachikomas died made me tear up. ;_;

Princess lover ep 1 6/10

Well it's probably one of the cheesiest and clinched shows I've ever seen
the story and writing just seems pretty stupid
I can see why there's nudity on the dvds

Despite that it looks really nice gets a 4/5 for art and animation
and a 2/5 for story it's kinda how I assume a bad romance novel would be ,could be a 1 just gave it an extra point for being imaginative

I'm gonna watch a couple more episode anyway cause I'm bored
might get better slightly

Kanamemo 6/10
like the last one in fact the concept of an orphan is the same

This one different though 3/5 for art and animation and 3/5 for storline
it defiantly has superior writing to the last one probably because it's based on a manga rather than a h game,
It's cuter too and I quite like the newspaper thing since I've done that so I'll be able to relate in a way I guess.

I couldn't bear to see another one of those adorable things die & know it was permanent. ;_; They are like kittens.

Except not.
