Interesting concept for a series which is barely explained, interesting range of characters but the ending is very much anti climatic, like more episodes were due to be made (considering it ends in the middle of the big battle)

I stand corrected, it's my understanding that the production company (Manglobe?) went bankrupt before completing the series

JUNK HEAD (Original Language Audio) - Film

I watched Takahide Hori's JUNK HEAD today, a really cool, dystopian stop motion anime film and it ended unexpectedly which goes to show how much I was invested in its story and concept.

It's a very creative film, in both the world-building and design of the characters and creatures. I really do appreciate the amount of effort that was put into the animation and storytelling, because you can tell there was a lot of passion put into this film and the seven years it took to create it.

While its got an abrupt ending, I am happy that there's a sequel in the works (JUNK WORLD) because I would love to see more of what comes next. Anime Limited's release does include a Making of Documentary and a booklet that adds more context to its development so if you do see this film even on sale I highly recommend picking it up as it's a great watch.

Viewed with my mother:

Spy Family S2 Ep 29. Except for the first three episodes of Season 1, I've truly found this series to be dreadfully boring, but my mother still likes it.

The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent Season 2 Episode 4.

The Tale of Outcasts Eps 1-6. I'm really surprized my mother would be so into an anime like this, although she did love Sacrificial Princess and the King of Beasts, and this series is somewhat of a similar premise, although quite a bit more dark.
