There could've been a lot of tension in this episode with the viewer uncertain of the outcome of the battle. Unfortunately we've seen them all in the OP and ED for the previous eight episodes so nevermind.

Tokyo Ghoul: re 2nd Season episode 8 In terms of adapting the manga this episode was the worst so far, as most of the changes made were terrible (a fake out death was skipped so that change wasn’t bad.) We didn’t even get a proper Kenference. What was one of my most anticipated episode predictably ended up disappointing me. Still with four episodes to adapt dragon maybe it won’t be all bad...right?

In Another world with my Smartphone episodes 1-12 (Complete. An Isekai anime much maligned by some is ultimately one I found to a decent if unremarkable series that delves into familiar territory with its fantasy themes. What separates it is how it features an overpowered MC complete with a harem of bride-to-bes as well. Those two aspects are why I can see how people would dislike the series but ultimately it’s a trashy yet harmless endeavour. A “guilty pleasure” as it were. I’ve seen worse and it was a breeze to sit through.) 3.5/5

Tokyo Ghoul:re Season 2 episode 8 - I'm hella mad that they didn't even include the backstories to both Shikorae and Roma.

Re:Creators (Re:Watch) episodes 18-22 (Complete) - I really enjoyed revisiting this series as one of my 2017 favourites. Easily one of Hiroyuki Sawano's best soundtracks as well as some great animation from studio Troyca, notably with the fine use of CGI. The characters and story were good fun with great cliche characters such as walking expositional NPC (and best girl) Meteora and plenty of great meta commentary. The recap episode is also really worth the watch with some great 4th wall destruction.

At it's core this is essentially a story about stories and how we interact with them. As a creator I guess I have some bias towards this series since I could really identify with a lot of the themes and especially the ending message. Still gonna make my own characters suffer like hell though. 9/10

Yet another historical figure turned into a cute anime girl! Although the appearance was a good nod to what was happening with the particular part of the plot, the search for the scabbard of Excalibar, I don't think this person would have been in France at the time either.

HIMOTE HOUSE ep 8
The hangover from hell. I like that they mixed in the couch scene stuff with the main part. Although they still had that at the end, talk about product placement!

RErideD: Derrida, who leaps through time: episodes 11 and 12(COMPLETE)- Just...zzzzz this is gotta be one of the worst series I ever watched. It sounded interesting to begin with but everything and everyone was just so incredibly dull and boring in my opinion.Shame. Overall 1/10

Run With The Wind- Episodes 8-9 Really liking the characters for this series ,the drama and dat cliffhanger at episode 9 ..wow this is getting interesting.

Inferno Cop episodes 1-13 & Inferno Cop: Fact Files episodes 1-12 (Complete. Very random but occasionally very humorous. It’s absurd enough to entertain and short enough for the offbeat humour not to outstay its welcome. I have no idea why the fact files are separate on MAL considering they’re so short.) 3/5, 2/5

KonoSuba: God’s blessing on this wonderful World 2 episodes 1-10 (Complete. Consistent with the first season by having the plot be kick-started by everyone screwing Kazuma over. The rest of the cast were fine, if rather irritating at times. Hopefully the film is decent.) 3.5/5

Another great episode and quite emotional one. I really can't help but feel a little bit sorry for Nodoka with what she has to put up with especially being in her siblings shadow. Also what's up with the parents in this show.....seriously.

A movie is where it is going, so hopefully there's a decent ending to the series, but possibly not. From MAL:
