Ep 1 of Saiyuki Reload Blast...gonna have to get used to the VAs as they seem wrong for both Sanzo and Gojyo. Sanzo's sounds too deep and Gojyo's sounds too old.

I'm still unsure how I feel about having such a Makoto/Kuroko focussed arc in Index. They have their own spin off for screen time, let poor Index and Touma actually get a spotlight!

Not sold on that new OP, might be a grower though.

I like how economically they've managed to communicate that Kyouko has some serious Daddy issues.

Interviews With Monster Girls ep13

Was a bit dubious about this, partly because 'oh hay, festival episode', but also due to having been inadvertantly spoiled on what I assumed were all the best jokes, but it was a good laugh. I think I'd already forgotten how good the series is.

What changed? I just ran to ANN with a pitchfork worrying that they had replaced Ishida Akira and co without my permission :D

(I should get the episode watched myself soon...)

Boruto Naruto next Generations episode 14
Gotta love that signature Talk no Jutsu

Gunslinger Girl Il Teatrino episodes 1-13 (Complete. Hmm, it's clear that there was a slight downgrade in the animation department in places, and those character redesigns don't do a lot for me, the girls' eyes are a little too wide and emotional for cyborgs. The action scenes thankfully don't suffer too much and the story is still solid, though I was less engaged with some of the stories. Overall this is a solid follow up.) 3.5/5

Also saw Spiderman Homecoming which was very good

It's probably because it's been so long ago that I watch the other Saiyuki that I forgot what their voices sounded like.

[EDIT] now that I remember I have always thought that those two voices never suited those characters from when I first watched the original Saiyuki anime.

Spent the last few weeks winding my way through the second & third seasons of Haikyu!!. Only 2 episodes left now and I'll be all caught up. I still think this is one of the best (traditional) sports anime ever made (up there with Hajime no Ippo), but it's all starting to feel a little repetitive now so I'm glad I'm clearly all caught up. The third season's soundtrack is also downgrade for me, which isn't helping in those critical moments.
 
Code Geass Season 2 -ep 1-5 despite being chesy this series has stared off really well. One thing that strike me is how well written it is, it leaves you wondering how Zero is going to get out of each situation.

Restaurant to another world ep1 - really enjoyed this and could be the surprise of the season

also tried Aho Girl - it was awful, I mean really bad, not my type of humour at all. dropped it like a hot potato

I'm not sure how much I really followed these. It would've been nice to have translation for the on-screen dialogue and episode titles. I liked the last three, though.

Shuumatsu Nani Shitemasu ka? Isogashii desu ka? Sukutte Moratte Ii desu ka? (Eps 1-6) - OK so this I really do like! I'd go as far to say that it's certainly one of my favorite animes of this year so far! I nearly didn't watch it either! Can't wait to crack on again with this tonight! Please let it end as well as it started! XD

March Comes in Like a Lion ep12

Interesting to see the contrast in how Gotou behaves towards Smith, compared to Rei. Given that the first half of the episode plays from Smith's perspective, it would be nice to think that we're also getting a sense of how the two men actually see Gotou too.
