Is This a Zombie?-Episodes 10-12 (Complete)
Is This a Zombie? OVA (Complete)

This was fairly alright. Honestly, I liked the first half a lot more than the second half. The whole murder mystery with Ayumu trying to find his own killer was pretty interesting, as opposed to the guy who just wanted to destroy the world for a pretty dumb reason (Seriously, if the guy wanted to die, why didn't he just kill himself? I know he's a zombie, so it would be hard, but we see Ayumu blow up, with his body parts scattered, and he isn't moving or showing signs of life, so couldn't he have just done that rather than threaten to murder millions?) and he was pretty generic. Oh, and the last episode was just egregious fan service and totally unneeded, although the show itself totally knew this, so I'll at least give it that. In terms of Action-Fantasy/Comedy series, The Devil is a Part Timer was much more enjoyable.

Pretty sad to see my streak of brilliant shows (Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Gungrave and Punchline) come to an end, with a fairly unspectacular series. I'm in no rush to watch S2, but if it ends up on MVM's DOTW, or a tenner else where, I'll probably give that a watch.

Mahou Shoujo Nate Mou Ii Desu Kara S2-Episode 10

Was that a cliffhanger?!

Sound! Euphonium S2-Episode 10

Wow, I kind of feel like a moron for not making the connection between the Asuka and Mamiko stories until the episode explicitly pointed that connection out...

Konosuba OAV

As you might expect from an oav, this felt a little tacked on, but it was still funny. Somehow, I always thought the show was playing Kazuma as the 'redeemable letch', but nah. Having finally finished the show outright, I have reached the conclusion that he is just a terrible person through and through. It's like the old Seinfeld maxim - 'no hugging, no learning'.

Jormungand: Perfect Order ep23-24 [end]

That was a rather strange note to finish on. I'd have put money on Koko killing Kasper at the end. Or possibly Jonah shooting himself. Still a good show though. I think Jormungand really pulled its socks up for the Perfect Order season. It's a shame that there isn't more of it - I could have gone for another cour quite easily.

Yuri!!! On Ice, Ep. 10

Oh God! Rings, wedding, engagement... it's all getting exciting in terms of that relationship... but the thing I really want still hasn't happened yet. I just want either Victor or Yuri to say "I love you." I don't want subtext, I want the actual thing!

Seraph of the End ep 10 - 12
Seraph of the Endless I found this on the Blu Ray I didn't know there was extra mini eps. I really enjoyed them, especially the first 2.

ClassicaLoid ep 7-8. That scene in the karaoke booth killed me. This show is mostly average, but it has it's moments.

Drifters
ep 8-9. I really want some elephants to turn up just for the look on Hannibal's face when he sees them.

Izetta: The Last Witch
ep 9-10.

Occultic;Nine ep 7-8. El Psy Congroo.

Flip Flappers-Episode 10

Oh no, not Grandma betrayal, that's the worst kind!

Keijo-Episode 10

Gate of Bootylon, I just can't.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable-Episode 37

I was happy with the wrap up of the Bites the Dust story. Pretty smart.

Drifters-Episode 10

Durarara-Episodes 1-3

This seems pretty fantastic so far. I loved Baccano to death, but with that, it took me about 4 episodes or so for things to really click for me, but here, I started really liking it pretty much from the off. I really appreciate Brain's Base revisiting the OP concept from Baccano for this series, as with so many characters, it's nice to get a refresher on all the characters and their names. Soundtrack for this series seems pretty kick ass too.

Drifters ep10

Felt a bit disjointed this week. I wonder if they're rearranging things from the manga to fit the anime's episode count.

Diamond is Unbreakable ep37

As much as the story is still being fairly clever about what is happening in the fight, I did feel the amount of describing in extreme detail exactly what the attacks are doing was rather intrusive.

Durarara!!-Episodes 4-7

What I like about this over Baccano is that it picks a character perspective and largely sticks to it for a whole episode. With Baccano, it went back and forth between different characters and timelines, which got rather confusing and hard to follow in places. The fact each episode just focuses on one part of the story from a single perspective makes it feel a lot more coherent. Not that Baccano was totally unfathomable, but I prefer it this way.

Princess Mononoke - So after watching Only Yesterday a few weeks (months? I dunno) back I was kinda questioning if Princess Mononoke was still my favourite Ghibli movie and after this re-watch I think it still is, but Only Yesterday certainly came closer to surpassing it than any of the others I've seen. Next I think I'll go for another I haven't seen though...

Occultic;Nine ep9

Definitely feels like we're heading towards a conclusion now. I wonder how that relates to the LNs having been cancelled?

I also wonder whether there's any significance in the cafe owner not being visible this time.
