Mobile Police Patlabor - Episodes 29 & 30 (Blu-ray)

SSSS.Gridman - Episodes 2 & 3

Not sure how I feel about Gridman, at times it generates some excellent drama and tension that really engages me and the rest of the time it feels very by the numbers.

Banana Fish - Episode 16

Banana Fish ep 16
That was like a comedy crime caper episode. Very funny, but felt like a weird shift in tone.

Yeah, I completely agree with this comment, it did feel like a weird shift in tone, especially in the latter part of the episode.

That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime ep5

This is an okay show, but I feel it might be a bit too gentle for me really. Kind of works as something to watch before bed though.

Kiznaiver ep11-12 (rewatch)

Actually enjoyed Kiznaiver a little more on this second viewing. The character development around the middle of the series is quite strong, and I think it's easier to appreciate that when you're not focused on the payoff for the overall plot.

A Certain Magical Index III (English Dub) Episode 2

As Between the Sky and Sea (Sub) Episode 5
A somewhat decent episode. Overcoming one's fear in order to get stronger. Makoto gets some character development.

As Miss Beelzebub Likes (Sub) Episode 4
More demon cuteness. Beelzebub get some major character development.

My Sister, My Writer (Sub) Episode 4
A rather poor episode. Another addition to the harem arrives. Those cliches.

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (Sub) Episode 5
Another very good episode. Koga gets some character development. Sakuta continues to be best boy IMO despite all the sh*t he has to deal with this ep.

Ace Attorney 2nd Season (Dub) episode 1 Ace deals with a case of amnesia.

Rascal does not dream of Bunny Girl Senpai episode 5 That train platform confrontation was ace.

RErideD: Derrida who Leaps through Time episode 9 Somewhat of a breather episode before the final climax.

31 Days of Halloween Day #31: Halloween (2018, David Gordon Green) A sublime return to form for the franchise. The build-up to Michael’s revival was amongst the best in the franchise. The cast are great in places (JLC does a brilliant job as a mentally damaged Laurie Strode) to middling (most of the teen fodder). Once the film gets into slasher mode it’s a ride until the ending. This is my third favourite in the series, behind the original and 6 (Producer’s Cut) 4/5
And with that my 31 Days challenge is complete!

Ace Attorney Season 2 Episode 1 (dub) - adapting one of the stories they skipped last season I see.

Fairy Tail Season 8 Episode 1 )dub) - Carla?!

Made In Abyss Episode 2 (dub) - Never leave Reg asleep alone with Riko ever again!

Another episodes 1-12 (Complete) - Definitely a Halloween worthy series. Absolutely nails the mystery element as the characters attempt to unravel the secrets behind the curse of class 3, providing enough interesting twists through the series as well as a finale I didn't see coming. As for horror I guess I can overlook a few slightly over the top deaths as the concept was still pretty great. The characters were interesting and the soundtrack set a good tone for the series with an especially boppin OP. 9/10

Perfect Blue - An interesting psychological horror that I've been meaning to get around to for a while. A great way to top off my Halloween viewing as it portrays one character's struggle with reality and how every scene is put into question. I did find it a bit complex towards the end but overall it had great direction and music. 8/10

Golden Kamuy Season 2 episode 4

Tokyo Ghoul:re Season 2 episode 4

Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai episode 5

Overlord - Season 3
Binged Seasons 1 and 2 already this week, due to the looming deadline of Crunchyroll's/Funimation's partnership ending on 9th Nov. I know it will probably stay on Crunchyroll since it was simulcast during the partnership but I had to carry on watching it, its very good but too much CG. Season 1 is my favourite so far 7.5/10.

Zombieland Saga - Episode 5

Welcome to the NHK - Episode 1

Bloom into You ep 4
Had another beautiful scene, at least this time Touko asked permission to kiss Yuu. The look into Seijis "hobby" made him look a bit creepy, but at least he didn't attempt to blackmail Yuu and Touko.

Release the Spyce ep 4
Concentrated on the relationship between Fuu and her mentor Mei. I liked the character development. The bad guy was amusing and the music was great both insert song and instrumental stuff.
I got the feeling at the end that after all they went through they love each in more than a student-mentor way!

ZOMBIE LAND SAGA ep 5
Back on form with some absolutely hilarious stuff. The second part especially.

Tokyo Ghoul:re s2 e4
The battle ends with a big revelation, I guess, but I don't know who most of these people are so I don't particularly give a damn!

Golden Kamuy s2 e4
Some really absurd comedy in this episode. Plus Sugimoto learns the truth about Shiraishi.

Bunny Girl Senpai ep 5
Uh-oh, seems like Koga has fallen for Sakuta given that look at seeing Mai in the ad.
Some great advice from Sakuta "It's not like I live for all of humanity to like me." and "Even if the whole world hated me, I could keep living if that [one] person needed me."

Banana Fish episode 17 A new threat comes into play.

Merc StoriA: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle episode 4 More comfortable viewing, if a little saddening this week.

Zombieland Saga episode 5 More funny antics as the group participate in a commercial and Tae continues to be a hindrance.

Star Blazers: Space Battleship Yamato 2199 episodes 12-26 (Complete. A sublime and engaging space opera with a consistently enjoyable story and characters. A fine update of what is considered a sci-fi classic.) 4/5

School-Live! episodes 1-4 - Well this has started out pretty strong with a great balance of horror and CGDCT elements.

Fate/Extra: Last Encore episodes 8-10

BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!☆PICO
Episode 18

Emiya-san Chi no Kyou no Gohan (Sub) Episode 11

Kono Aozora ni Yakusoku wo (Sub) Episode 1—13 (Complete)

Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle (Sub) Episode 4
Another enjoyable episode, just a shame it was a little bit saddening.

Zombie Land Saga (Sub) Episode 5
More hilarious antics as the group star in a tv commercial. Tae continues causing trouble.

Zombieland Saga episode 5
I'm actually quite gutted. I wasn't feeling too well last night, and I did watch it but I quite honestly and literally cannot remember anything about it. Must've been half dead but I look forward to this every week and I can't remember it o_O
Watch it again tonight :(

Continuing my catch up with this years shows, this is the last one from the winter:

Hakumei and Mikochi ep 1
Seems a bit like Girls' Last Tour, at least in terms of the 2 MCs characteristics and relationship. The setting couldn't be more different, instead of the post apocalypse they are tiny people living in a lush forest. The art is very pretty and the OST is nice.

half dead
