Chrome Shelled Regios - Episodes 1-24

Latest title from my backlog, an interesting concept for a story (especially with the elements of a "Story within a story"), some interesting characters, leaving the door open for more episodes if ever got ordered.
 
Beast Tamer (rewatch). Still hoping if I keep watching this, the Gods will grant us a second season.

Amanchu Advance! complete series: a lot less diving in this series, but a lot more building confidence and friendships. Plus an odd sort of ghost story took over three episodes in the middle. Still fascinated by the girls' school uniforms. The hems must get filthy. One day we may get a decent release of this series. The Malaysian copy is OK, but they don't bother translating anything written down or any of the flashbacks.

Love Live! Superstar!! 3rd Season episode 10 Yell.

Capeta episodes 45-52 (Complete. Something of a hidden gem, this racing anime is worth a look and deserves a license rescue despite needing some tighter pacing here and there.) 3.5/5

The Prince of Tennis: U-17 World Cup Semifinal episode 11 Synchronised.

Celestial Method episodes 8-13 (Complete. This wasn’t a bad watch, but the overall series didn’t leave much of an impact, that and the final episodes weren’t all that good either.) 3/5

have you seen Agatha Christie's Great Detectives Poirot and Marple? it's a kids anime series where a young girl assists Poirot and her great-aunt Marple in solving crimes? did I mention that the young girl has a pet duck that also assists in solving the crimes???

Hi there,

Yes that is the one I am watching. It has got a rather long title so I took the liberty of shortening it.
I do not usually like insert characters like Maybelle but I think it works well with her. I suppose she is the link between the two detectives. Shame that it means Hastings has less to do.
I don't even mind Oliver.
Good fun and pretty faithful, I think.

Really like the opening and ending songs.

ah cool, I just assumed you were watching another adaption as they were listed separately
yeh I've watched a few episodes before and enjoyed them, was surprised at how faithfully they adapted the actual storylines
feels like the kind of show that might turn up as a Discotek release, would be happy to buy it if they did

Was it conceived as a kid's show?
I assumed with all the murders it was adults and maybe kid's!

Just a thought while writing this, I suppose I thought of Detective Conan as a kid's show. They're in the 4 figures for deaths. Funny that I thought of 2 similarly themed shows differently.

Kenichi Seasons 1 & 2

A really fun martial arts series with the right amount of silliness and horniness to make it funny but not ridiculous or gross. I’m definitely looking forward to watching the OVA next.

Fun note: it’s on YouTube on the TMS channel in SD or if you have a VPN then it’s on Tubi in HD too (I love Nord on my Apple TV).
