Beastars 2nd Season
episodes 1-12 (Complete. A stronger second season, though I admittedly like the overall story more when it focuses less on Legoshi & Haru’s relationship and more on other social dynamics and world-building.) 4/5

Beatless
episodes 1-2

Well, having lost my home internet on Monday night and while waiting for the engineer to fix it (still waiting) I decided to watch some of my backlog. Started with Land of the Lustrous (beautiful but what a cliffhanger ending with all the big questions unanswered), The Nutcracker (a lovely Swedish ballet that I think I will watch again at Christmas), Swan Lake (the Matthew Bourne version with male swans, which was weird and felt wrong. The music kept me going), Kiniro No Corde, an anime based at a music school with the lead being the only significant female character, who is constantly bullied and hit upon by all around her (three times a complete stranger just drags her off from her friends to somewhere "special"), Invaders of the Rokujyama (again), Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid S (again), Fist Of Fury (again), some more Bluey, and the biggie, Lelouch of the Rebellion (up to season 2 episode 8 so far). My biggest problem with this last show is blind Nunnaly has been living constantly in close quarters with her brother Lelouch for 7 years, yet she seems unable to recognise his voice when he puts a mask on!? Also, am I wrong to think all the people given the Geass power are just the puppets of a couple of bored bloodthirsty immortals? Time will tell on that one. Oh, and I'm finally watching Food Wars Season 4 (mmmm)

The Dangers in My Heart ep 12 (complete)
Armour destroyed.
The first impression of the MC is a bit cringy, but this soon passes (it gets a really satisfactory explanation in the final episode) and we get to see him and Anna Yamada, the girl that seems to have taken a shine to him, develop a sweet/awkward teenage relationship with some great moments such as an accidental kabadon. Yamada herself suffers from the "ain't no way they're a middle schooler" in the design department with her figure, you have to remind yourself all the time of that when it strays into fanservice territory.
It reached a good point, but definitely didn't quite get to the most satisfying point, but there is a second season incoming!
The art and animation were very good and the OST was really nice to, very A Silent Voice like, but no plagiarism here because it's by the same artist, Kensuke Ushio.
8/10

Otaku Elf
ep 11
Investigation and archery.

The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far (English Dub) Episode 10

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc Episode 11 Conquered the sun. (Complete. Another engrossing and solid arc overall.) 4/5

The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far
Episode 12 Reason to protect. (Complete. Though this doesn't bring anything new to the table it was still a fairly decent watch.) 3.5/5

Dead Mount Death Play (Japanese audio) - Episodes 8-10
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village arc (Japanese audio) - Episode 11 (Completed)

My Clueless First Friend
episode 12 Wish.

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad episodes 3-22

Boogiepop and Others (English dubbed, the anime series rather than the live-action movie though I have also seen that) - I really loved this, was great to revisit the Boogiepop universe, I hope they adapt more of the Boogiepop novels into anime in the future. It has a different style to the older anime series (which I also adored), that was very much a "dementia" anime in the Serial Experiments Lain style whereas this is a bit of a different vibe to that, but I'd still highly recommend it :)

Galaxy Investigation 2100: Border Planet

An interesting, slightly odd and very Tezuka mid 80's film from Osamu Tezuka. It has a lot of the themes that Tezuka's works often carry about love saving the human race etc. I enjoyed it and it was a real rounded film that I would recommend.

Machine Robo: Revenge of Cronos - Episodes 6 -12

Space Knight Tekkaman - Episodes 21 & 22

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury - Episode 22

Hell's Paradise: Jigokuraku (Japanese audio) - Episodes 1-4

The premise of this series is relatively simple, but as soon as you land on the island it starts to turn into a mix between Terraformars, Island of Giant Insects and King Kong with the monsters that appear on the island. Cast is pretty intriguing as well, with enough backstory and motivation given out for our main dude. The manga ended a while back so I'm curious to see how much this first cour covers.

Golden Kamuy 4th Season episode 52 Fap.

I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in The Real World, Too episode 11 Scenery.

In Another World With My Smartphone 2 episode 12 Fireworks (Complete. This felt like a better season than the first, almost as if had more confidence overall with the story and harem aspects.) 3.5/5

Insomniacs after School
episode 11 Taste of salt.

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear Punch! episode 12 Exaggerate. (Complete. Much like the first season this was good fun.) 3.5/5

Vinland Saga Season 2
episode 38 Reunion. (Complete. Though divisive for some the different tone and approach with the story here was appreciated, and made for some great dynamics between Thorfinn and those around him.) 4/5

Beck: Mongolian Chop Squad
episodes 23-26 (Complete. Though I enjoyed the musical element of this story, I couldn’t get on with either Koyuki or Maho for the most part as characters, the former rarely standing up for themselves and the latter just being off-putting at times.) 3.5/5

Belle (Film)
This certainly had a lot going for it from a spectacle and soundtrack perspective, and those were perhaps the strongest elements for me overall. 3.5/5

Best Student Council
