Karakuri Circus eps 21 & 22
This is just bonkers. Not in the OTT way a la Trigger, but just very very silly.

Dororo ep 11
Intriguing ending.

The Quintessential Quintuplets ep 11
They're really spinning out this school trip. So the last episode of the season will be the bonfire dance and the current leader in the race will be revealed, I assume. I'm going with Miku. She seems to be the one who fancies him the most at the moment, but he still seems pretty oblivious to it all.

A Certain Magical Index III episode 24 Touma goes out on a limb.

Boogiepop and Others episode 17 Build-up for what I hope is a good conclusion.

Date A Live III episode 11 Okay they managed to conclude the arc in a swift, yet decent, manner, but I wonder how much they’ll try and fit into episode 12?

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure Part 5: Golden Wind episode 23 A tongue-twisting victory.

Piacevole: My Italian Cooking episodes 1-12 (Complete. Crunchyroll sure likes to collate short series’, this one centres around a lot of “food porn” and simple but harmless humour. It’s just quirky enough that it isn’t too forgettable but is too rushed to leave any sort of real impact.) 2.5/5

Princess Principal episodes 1-12 (Complete. An entertaining steampunk series with espionage and some great visual prowess to accompany it. The cast and stories were varied enough to keep things interesting throughout, and the CE from MVM gave it an extra depth. Hopefully the films are good.) 4/5

Date A Live III (English Dub) Episode 9

Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka (English Dub) Episode 9

A Certain Magical Index III Episode 24
Pretty intense stuff this week. This is exactly what makes this series so good.

Boogiepop and Others Episode 17
Another mind boggling episode. This is definitely going to make for an intriguing conclusion.

Date A Live III Episode 11
This pretty much concluded the way I thought it would, but it was still an enjoyable arc regardless.

Domestic Girlfriend Episode 11

Magical Girl Spec-Ops Asuka Episode 11
And so with this, the intense fighting comes to a climactic end with a predictable outcome.

The Price of Smiles Episode 12 (Complete)

The Price of Smiles - Episodes 11 & 12 [Final]

The writing was really clumsy at times but I did enjoy the series as a whole.

Gall Force: New Era - Episodes 1 & 2 [Final]

Rewatched ahead of a review on the podcast.

Hi-Score Girl episodes 13-15
Date A Live III episode 11
Domestic Girlfriend episode 11
The Price of Smiles episode 12 (complete)
It was a bit up and down for me this series, but I thought it ended well.

Domestic Girlfriend ep 11
I guess it was going to happen at some point, if only to up the melodrama.

The Promised Neverland ep 11
Ooh, that ending. Did they leave some behind to die or just to keep Mama busy? I don't recall seeing any babies with the escapees!

Hinomaru Sumo ep 23
The whole episode was totally predictable from the result of the first bout of the episode and that it would end on a cliffhanger. But the action was pretty good.

Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka ep 11
The best thing I can say about this ep is that it was completely predictable. It also leaves the last episode as likely just some fluff.
Whilst the outcome of the battle was obvious it ain't over yet because they stole some ultimate weapon or something so I don't think the last episode will be fluff. Especially as the preview showed another touture sequence 🙄 and I assume the reveal of the big bad (wonder if it'll turn out to be the fifth Magical Girl, as you say they haven't really mentioned her!)

SAO: Alicization ep 23
The Administrator reveals how devious she truly is. Hopefully the action next week will be better than a giant flying sword "fighting" a monster made of swords which was just a little silly.

Persona 5 the Animation: Stars and Ours (special 2)
Was pretty faithful to the game (as far as I remember, it must be nearly 2 years now since it came out already!)
Overall the 2 specials upped the quality a little bit and didn't seem as rushed so I'll give an extra point.
7/10

Endro~! ep 11
PS_Messages_20190323_211858.jpg
That's better a bit of action and lots of Mao-chan.

That's some bad cooking though!

Magical Girl Spec Ops Asuka ep 11

Whilst the outcome of the battle was obvious it ain't over yet because they stole some ultimate weapon or something so I don't think the last episode will be fluff. Especially as the preview showed another touture sequence 🙄 and I assume the reveal of the big bad (wonder if it'll turn out to be the fifth Magical Girl, as you say they haven't really mentioned her!)
Yeah, but apart from the torture bit in the preview it looked pretty fluffy. Like getting the bad magical girl working in the maid cafe... it'll probably just do the thing it's done previously of contrasting the torture with the everyday.

On the subject of the big bad, I'd say it's pretty obviously Francine, I think her name was? The leader of the magical girls before she died and passed it to Asuka. If it's not her, they've done an amazing job of a fakeout, as there was the whole Asuka going "I definitely know her from somewhere" and even her hairstyle is similar. Also, she was the one of the girls that died that came up the most. Narratively it pushes all the buttons.

Based purely on the preview, it looks like the 5th girl's changed quite a bit. There was that little moment there where it showed that blonde tanned girl we saw getting a massage briefly in ep 11 using the weapons that the 5th seems to use. So might well be her? Also solves the mystery of why the heck that scene existed in the first place :p

I mean, I may be completely wrong. But those would be my predictions.

Dareka no Manazashi (Someone's Gaze)
Only 6 mins long but already possibly my second favourite Shinkai film after Your Name, simply beautiful! 😢

Gangsta 1-12 and another Mystery box item off the list. Didn't binge like normal but watched over a few weeks, I guress I finally got burned out. Anyway I enjoyed this show quite a bit but then it ended and absolutely nothing got resolved. Looking online yields that the studio went under so we won't ever see a season 2, what a goddman shame.

A good show ruined by it's abrupt ending, I think I might CEX this one since it's unlikely I will ever rewatch based on that.

Bermuda Triangle: Colourful Pastrale episode 11 Having a ball.

ENDRO! episode 11 A demonic secret is finally revealed.

Fairy Tail: Final Season episode 301 Pretty standard FT.

Grimms Notes: The Animation episode 11 Don’t you ever wonder ‘bout Wonderland?

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War episode 11 Sun, sea and ramen.

Persona 5 The Animation SP2 As usual a competent but unremarkable adaptation, but hey P5: The Royal could be interesting. 3/5

ReLIFE episodes 1-13 (Complete. An interesting concept with a good cast of characters that unfortunately got weighed down a bit by some episodes that felt a bit by-the-numbers due to the teen drama involved.

It’s not to say that these episodes weren’t good but I found the focus on Arata’s ptsd or Chizuru’s social distancing stronger and tighter than Honoka and Rena’s plight. That being said, the final few episodes were good and hopefully the final arc can provide a satisfactory conclusion as well.) 3.5/5

ReLIFE Final Arc episodes 1-4 (Complete. A more focused finale that offered a satisfying conclusion, though it has been noted that they skipped a lot of the manga out which is a shame as this series deserved a full second season. Despite that missed opportunity the final arc of ReLIFE was a very good watch.) 4/5

Yurikuma Arashi episodes 9-12 [End] - A brilliantly abstract series with beautiful art direction. While I did enjoy the abstract storytelling I fear this may be the reason why it is such an underrated series as some viewers may find it hard to follow and I must admit that I may have missed some of the symbolism and themes. I'll definitely look out for some analysis and rewatch it sometime to understand this series better as I have done with similarly abstract series Flip Flappers and Revue Starlight. 9/10

Endro! (English Dub) Episode 8

High Score Girl (English Dub) Episode 1-12 (Complete)
With season 2 coming out later this year, I decided to give this show a rewatch but this timewith the dub. A show about a boy and girl and their mutual love for gaming. Despite the fact that the show is all CGI, the CGI itself is tolerable but it still make the show enjoyable. 3/5

High Score Girl: Extra Stage (English Dub) Episode 1-3 (13-15) (Complete)
These where a decent bunch of OVA's. Ep 14 was pretty intense if not OTT especially with Moemi, while Ep 15 was just absolutely adorable. 3/5

Radiant (English Dub) Episode 21 (Complete)

Bermuda Triangle: Colorful Pastrale Episode 11
Well that is certainly an interesting way to avoid your personal troubles. It's going to be interesting to see what Kanon's final decision will be.

Endro! Episode 11
Some decent action with plenty of Mao-chan. I don't want to even know how bad that cooking actually tasted. That reveal tho...

Fairy Tail Episode 301
Generic but standard and typical FT.

Grimms Notes The Animation Episode 11
Wonderland... It really does makes you stop to think and wonder about it's wonders.

Kaguya-Sama: Love is War Episode 11
An amusing but fun episode. The ending though was something else indeed.

Sword Art Online Alicization Episode 23
Another solid episode. I can't believe just how insane this administrator actually is, for her to do what she has done to others just further proves how far gone she is. Looks like where going to be in for one hell of a fight next week.

W'z Episode 12

Persona 5 The Animation: Stars and Ours (special 2)
For some reason I didn't really enjoy this. I liked the first special and didn't even have any real problems with the main series (which I know a lot of people did), but this just felt a bit ehh. Too compressed? Maybe. Overall the series and specials get a 6/10 from me.

Bermuda Triangle ep 11
Oh, Canon gets a two-parter.

SAO: Alicization ep 23
Administrator sitting still for the dramatic lines and discussions really kinda spoils some of the tension of this episode. But the emotional parts are done well and overall I still found it quite impressive.

Endro ep 11
Okay, I really did not see that coming. Honestly expected it to remain a fluffy SOL until the end. I don't doubt it'll still have a happy, reconciliation-based ending, but darn if it isn't handling it well. I was impressed enough with them bringing Meigo back and having Chibi's appetite/stomach continue to be a plot point, and things just spiralled from there. Makes me glad I bothered to watch it in the first place.

Kaguya-sama ep 11
I maintain that this show is made by the side-characters. Hayasaka was an excellent audience stand-in at times this episode, and Fujiwara's happiness was infectious. On the whole this was actually a (well-handled) sad episode, but we'll get the reward for that in the season finale.
