Hinamatsuri episode 10 Hitomi gives in way too easily and Anzu gets into gambling. This series has way too many humorously awful people in it.

My Sweet Tyrant episode 10 A beach episode, what is this an anime or something?

Unbreakable Machine Dolls episodes 5-12/Specials 1-6 (Complete. A fun series with cool concepts and a British setting. Yet another LN adaptation that will never see a continuation, heck I don't even think the more recent LN volumes have been translated. Oh and kudos to the dub for some of the most hilariously terrible English accents and use of slang and slur.) 3.5/5

The Hound of the Baskervilles (Film) The classic hammer horror version starring Peter Cushing, Andre Morell and Christopher Lee, and directed by Terence Fisher. This was rather enjoyable, with some great performances, including a better portrayal of Watson than a lot of the more slow and bumbling renditions seen over the years, and typically capable directing from Fisher. 4/5

Mitsuboshi Colours episodes 6-12 (End)
toTZImO.jpg

Why couldn't this be 110 episodes long and LotGH be 12?
I really like Mitsuboshi Colors, but I think part of the appeal for me was the fact that I could relate to it having done half that stuff myself with my gang when we were kids :) (although it did bring new meaning to the term "police harassment").
I don't think I was ever a particularly happy or sociable enough child to be able to personally relate (who'd have guessed?) but it does seem to capture the idiosyncrasies of childhood well, and I like the way it reflects the degree to which kids can enjoy the simple pleasures in life in a way adults either no longer can or have just forgotten how to.
Glad you're enjoying it, Mitsuboshi Colours was definitely one of my favourites that season, and quite underappreciated. Sat-chan is indeed the best. Just wait until you get to episode 9, I was in stitches.
It's funny how subjective comedy is, episode 9 didn't do much for me. Episode 8 (Museum/Lottery) on the other hand... I feel like the Colours are really at their best when interacting with adults confounded by their antics, or when they let their imaginations totally run wild, and scenarios like the zoo and museum give ample opportunity for both.

Speaking of the settings, the show clearly speaks of real love for and attention to detail of a place as well - While I have my doubts Ueno is really such a friendly community, being as it is right in the middle of bloody metropolitan Tokyo, clearly the creator (presumably of the original manga) has a great deal of appreciation for its sights and atmosphere. It works nicely as a "small world" for the characters to inhabit which is how the world often seems when you're that age - It's just you, your town and your friends and family.

In the slice of (kids') life stakes, I don't think it quite manages to reach the heights of Yotsuba for appreciation of childhood innocence or Strawberry Marshmallow for cynical comedy (though Kotoha does her best), but it's a welcome addition to the genre nontheless. Now get the manga over here.

Free - Eternal Summer - eps 7-9
Makoto makes a good coach. Another retconed character turns up to reveal info about the other retconed character. The pressure gets to Haru!

SAOA: GGO ep 9
Sqaud Jam 2 continues. Pito shows how much of a badass/nutcase she is and LLENNs team pull out some more excellent tactics.

Persona 5 the Animation ep 10
Best girl makes a full debut and the next target is found. A few cameos from the side characters.

Amanchu! Advance episode 10 The series returns to its roots and is all the better for it.

Darling in the FranXX episode 20 Looks like the climax is full speed ahead! So much is happening and they have four episodes to resolve it, I have faith.

Hozuki's Coolheadedness 2nd Season 2nd Cour episode 23 Another Karashi centric story and a martial arts contest.

My Hero Academia 3rd Season episode 48 Hoo boy that was a great fight.

Persona 5 The Animation episode 10 Gee this detective guy totally isn't shady. Another potential entry for Ren's harem is introduced as well as couple of side characters.

Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia (Film) A dark and brooding drama set in Mexico with Warren Oates playing a musician who embarks to return the severed head of a man responsible for impregnating the daughter of a powerful crime boss. The film is relentlessly depressing and violent, but is accompanied by fine acting and directing, and some wonderful shots and environments. It's certainly worth the watch, and despite the negative reception it received upon release has obtained a cult following-enough for Arrow Video to give it a loaded release. 3.5/5

Akkun to Kanojo (Sub) Episode 10
Fun in the sun at the beach.

Amanchu! ~Advance~ (Sub) Episode 10
A new year that brings new beginnings.

DARLING in the FRANXX (Sub) Episode 20
 WOW, Brilliant episode. That was f*cking brilliant. After all that build up, papa and the others are revealed to be aliens. I already had my suspicions about their true identities considering all the clues that where left over from previous episodes, well at least this confirms all the suspicions I had, great reveal though. Poor Zero 2, having to watch her man getting stolen by another woman let alone kissed by her, she will be steaming inside. As for Code 01, she was a total badass this ep, I dread to think what's going through her head.

Full Metal Panic! Invisible Victory (Sub) Episode 8
Sosuke's relentless determination to rescue Chidori continues but at a cost.

Isekai Izakaya: Japanese Food from Another World (Sub) Episode 9 - 10
To many squid jokes and a pain in the neck noble.

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online (Sub) Episode 9
SJ2 continues. Pito is a badass/nutcase killing machine and Team LLENN uses more interesting tactics.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of the Commandments (Sub) Episode 21
Memories of the past, Resisting the overwhelming darkness and awaiting the return of the Hero.

Oddly I love shows like this but after Episode 2 I kept thinking how my time could be better spent watching Strawberry Marshmallow, so dropped it

Also not helped this was also around the time my card details were stolen and HIDive account expired

Mezzo DSA ep1

While my impression is that probably no-one would remember Mezzo at all if not for the notorious OVA with the porno content, I like Yasuomi Umetsu’s character art enough to feel I should give this a shot when it turned up on HIDIVE. It’s a strange confection, like a sort of brightly coloured, punked-up take on the police procedural. While it comes across as a bit dumb in its storytelling and the artwork is no-one’s finest hour, the action scenes are rather well handled and I enjoyed it enough to give it the three episode benefit of the doubt anyway. Maybe enough time has passed now that all those self-consciously edgy early 2000s action series are starting to look appealing again...

I highly recommend you start watching FranXX asap, you are missing out on a very good series.
Eh, not really missing anything, it'll still be there. Unless you've just ruined it for me :p

If those are indeed spoilers for the show, it might be courteous to edit your post and cover them up with spoiler tags.
