The Ancient Magus' Bride: Those Awaiting A Star (1-3)
The three episode OVA thing before the series starts. I'm gonna move on to the series tonight. Felt very reminiscent of certain aspects of Spirited Away and Howl's Moving Castle so enjoyed it.

I have no idea how you made it to 11 episodes. Must feel like a accomplishment!

To be fair, its not /that/ bad... I mean its pretty bad but not totally unwatchable

------------------

A Sister is all you need - Very good episode
Wake up Girls - Urgh
Blend-S - Woof corner Woof

My Wife is the Student Council President S1 E1-5 (Unc) - Urgh

Noein: To Your Other Self eps 10-14
Stuff is happening, but I feel the main plot (or at least what I thought was supposed to be the main plot) is moving at snails pace.

Konohana Kitan eps 1-3
This show can be summed up in one word: Kawaii!

Martian Successor Nadesico: The Prince of Darkness
This was bizarre to say the least. Whereas the series pokes fun at more serious mecha, PoD seems like it's trying to emulate it. The tonal shift here with the fates of Akito and Yurika feels out of place, though, especially Akito's personality change.

The Nadesico crew are also present, though aren't utilised much and the story fails to tie up loose ends and instead creates more in the process. Overall, this is okay, I'm glad it was included with the series, but unlike the series, it didn't leave me with much enjoyment. 2.5/5

Monthly Girls' Nozaki-Kun
episodes 1-12 (Complete. This is one funny and loveable series, and I'd kill for another season. The comedy here is on point, and the characters goofy and fun. This is a comedy anime deserving of its praise.) 4/5

Sword of The Stranger
I’ve been wanting to watch it again for awhile now and rewatching it has only made me love it all the more. It’s such a great film!

Juni Taisen ep11

Well, it was a bit of a hack, but must admit, I'd never have guessed that's what Rat's skill was. If we don't get to see the Rabbit/Rat Broteam next week, I'll be very disappointed.

Recovery of an MMO Junkie ep11 (end)

While I think it's ultimately too lightweight to be one for the ages, this was an unexpected joy from beginning to end. They even managed to finish up in a good enough spot to feel conclusive, should we never get a second season, and that's quite a feat for a one-cour anime romcom.

Ep 11 of The Ancient Magus' Bride
Ep 11 of Blood Blockade Battlefront & Beyond
Eps 1 & 2 of Harlock Saga: The Ring of the Nibelung

Juni Taisen: Zodiac War ep 12 complete
The winner chooses their wish and looks back to what happened/what could have been different. Fairly dull ending to a middling series although there were some amusing bits and some little tidbits of info on some of the other characters. No backstory for Rabbit, at all!

Twocar - Episodes 8 & 9

Now that's gone round each set of characters hopefully we'll get into some proper story in the last few episodes.

Dragon's Heaven

Another watch ahead of a review on the podcast.

Genius Party Beyond (rewatch)

You know, I think 'Dimension Bomb' is probably my outright favourite out of all 12 of the shorts. And yet NEO writer Andrew Osmond called it "a deeply annoying troll of a film that could only make sense as a backing visual in a nightclub." o_O

I love the quirky girl, Kuu, with the birthmarks on her face. She's instantly become one of my all-time most memorable characters! (Fun fact: she's voiced by anime composer Yoko Kanno.)

'Toujin Kit' is another stunning short. There's still some extra layers of meaning to peel back with repeat viewing of that one.
