New Game!-Episode 5

Some great Hajime stuff in this episode!

Mob Psycho 100-Episode 4

I pretty good set up episode. Looking forward to see that cliffhanger pay off.

A Certain Magical Index-Episodes 15-17

A pretty entertaining arc, even if it was based on a hilariously huge plot contrivance.

Hidamari Sketch: Hoshimittsu-Episodes 1 and 2

Interesting they're adding new girls into the mix. Not that I was getting bored of Yuno and friends, but I think it could create some interesting new comedic opportunities. These two first episodes were hilarious too, so it's off to a good start!

Re:Zero - Episode 18 - SWEET BABY REM!!! ;-; With that out the way, let me just say that this episode was fantastic for what it was, some wonderfully written dialogue capped off with a kick to the gut, great stuff. That said, I've seen a lot of people upset, almost angry with how it worked out in the end and I'm just surprised that they didn't see it coming tbh. I'm actually kinda happy with how it worked out, mainly because I don't really like Subaru or Emilia (He's annoying and she's really bland, hoping for some development on that front at some point) and honestly? Rem deserves a lot better than that annoying little twat lol.

Mob Psycho 100 - Episodes 3 & 4 - Still decent, still getting some laughs from me, still adore the visuals. Looking forward to the next episode.

Servamp Ep. 5 (I've caught up now - but this is still my favourite) :)
sweetness & lightning Ep. 4
Fukigen no Mononokean Ep. 4
Orange Ep. 3 (still catching up)
Days Ep. 3
91 Days Ep. 3

Strike Witches: Episodes 7-12 [Rewatch]

Episode 7 never fails to bring a smile to my face, really fun episode with great interactions between characters who don't really get to bounce off each other much throughout the opening part of the series in the process learning more about the characters themselves. Even on my third watch of the series I still really enjoy pretty much every moment of Strike Witches, I think onwards now to Series 2 which suprisingly I have still yet to watch.

Amanchu ep 4. I'm kind of feeling an urge to learn how to dive myself. May be tricky though what with not knowing how to swim.

Handa-kun ep 4. This whole episode killed me, great characters that any comedy series will be envious of.

Heart x Hybrid Academy Ataraxia ep 4. That was just porn. I wouldn't be at all surprised if this went full hentai before the end of the series.

Orange ep 5. I'm officially bored now. Considering how well regarded the source material is, I would assume the problem lies more with this anime adaptation itself. The story is progressing but nothing about it makes any real impact, emotionally or otherwise. It's just a big pile of teen angst which I've seen so many times before.

sweetness and lightning ep 5. Watching this you would think that a doughnut without a hole is strange, but that's how they should be! It gives you more room for the filling. *drool*

The Heroic Legend of Arslan: Dust Storm Dance s2 ep 5. Pirates... in oversized rowing boats? How the hell did they catch merchant sailing ships using those things?

Haikyuu - Episodes 14 and 15: Start to the second cour is hype! End of episode 15 had the hairs on the back of my neck standing up, was great seeing these guys showing the rest of the tournament just what they can do!

Mob Psycho 100 ep4

Enjoyed this one much more than last week's - it doesn't feel like the show is in a great hurry to go anywhere, but as long as it sticks to the comedy, it's pretty good.

Sweetness and Lightning / Amaama to Inazuma Episode 5.

I know Kotori is serious about food, but her reaction to having heard Tsumugi's view of Doughnuts had me expecting something like Tsumugi associating Doughnuts too closely with her dead mother. It feels a little like the show is doing that deliberately, though it's hard to say.

I wonder if the minor characters will start getting a bit of a bigger role and more development or if we'll mostly be sticking with the main group. I'd expect to see more of them but I don't know if it'd exactly be essential to the show.

Amanchu! Episode 4.

It was nice to see more of Pikari's "real" face in this episode, as well as seeing her being (kind of) serious. It was actually just a really nice episode in all. The show can be a little strong with it's emotional moments but it always seems to avoid going overboard (though I suppose that may depend on viewer tolerance). I did think this episode was particularly effective, especially in dealing with Teko's fear and hesitation. I wouldn't really expect a show like this to make me feel uncomfortable but it did so in a way that made for a much better overall experience.

I'm starting to feel like it'll be almost impossible to pick a favourite show of the season.

I very much appreciated the fleshing out of Accelerator. He was a quite generic 2D villain, I thought, so him getting some development after the fact when I thought he wouldn't is pretty great.

Hidamari Sketch Hoshimittsu-Episodes 3 and 4

Poor Nazuna. I just want to reach through the screen and give her a hug.
