What's your favourite mecha?

By this I mean the mecha itself, not series. For me it's the Lancelot Conquista from Code Geass R2 =) I love the dual swords and massive hadron blaster.

Hands down the VF-1s Valkyrie. Two mecha for the price of one and a free jet fighter thrown in for free

Capable of atmospheric and space flight, customisable load out and later versions include sniper, recon, and FTL capable versions.

i still think that the ZGMF-X20A Strike Freedom is my favourite mecha

closely followed by XXXG-01D Deathsyth

and Escaflowne

Next comes Gurren and i do like Lancelot, but it's too much of a rip of the Nirvash from Eureka 7

Interesting. I didn't like the second season Gundams much, of the Gundam 00 'dams, Exia is my fave (anything with swords really =P)

I'm a fan of somewhat more curvy machines myself, such as Patlabor's Tybe-7B/2B Brocken...

And Zeta Gundam's AMX-004 Qubeley:

Probably the Zeta Gundam, especially in the angular style they went with for the second Master Grade and the movie. Gundams are always a little on the colourful side, but the Zeta looks less like a toy than most... more like an overly flashy sportscar.

If mecha were fluffy, I'd hug a Quebley.

No idea what went wrong there, so, thanks... and I somewhat understand the appeal, but they aren't for me. I don't particularly see why one car is more attractive over the other so this is a similar situation I've found myself in. I would probably argue against the Gurren Lagann being an actual mecha.

I love the physical sword setups of the Exia (especially the Avalanche one in the manga) and I think it's safe to say that the original Freedom is pretty much a solid contender, however time and time again I have to come back to this beauty...

Mine were the Valkyries from Macross II. I used to have a little model of one and it was really elegant and fragile.

My other fave are teh Appleseed landmates. Loo-vely.
