What manga are you reading now?

I am currently in the middle of volume 5 of Rurouni Kenshin. Took me a while to get around to this, but I'm pretty glad I did, so far. Kenshin is a great character, and I am a Shinsengumi nut so I am loving the characters and references.

Caught up to HxH the yesterday (Not like it was hard) and Togashi had to pull some Kubo ******** to end Chimera Ant, but it was handled much better than anything Kubo wishes he could do. While I think that Togashi had already planned this it seems like it was rushed a little for the new anime. If I don't get God Tier animation when Nefelpitou decimates Kaito I'm going to be so mad, then again it is Madhouse so...

But yeah, it isn't the end for HxH.

Read the three translated volumes of Fujoshi Rumi today. The characters don't seem as nuanced as in other otaku-culture rom-coms I could mention, but it's an amusing time-filler nonetheless and it's a pity that the Media Blasters release seems to have stopped. It surprises me that it runs in a seinen magazine though, as the artwork is painfully shoujo-esque, but then I suppose that's in-keeping with the subject matter.

RurouKen - up to volume 11 now, Kenshin may be on his way to making a top ten list of some sort. The more tidbits I read around the series though, the more it sounds like the Shishio arc is massively the high point.

The Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service

Just finished volume 3 today. Absolutely loved it. About to start Lady Snowblood.

Okay, I didn't read Lady Snowblood I ended up reading Twin Spica. It's excellent. Very moving manga indeed.

Re-reading Reborn! when I'm feeling too tired to read anything that requires effort... up through volume 4, it's still quite mind boggling how much this series changed over time.

Currently been reading Yotsuba&!, which I've been forgetting to read for ages. Read volumes 6 and 7 last night. Probably read volume 8 and possibly 9 tonight.

I don't really follow much manga as it's never been my thing; but I do follow Rosario and Vampire, Claymore, Sankarea, Dance in the Vampire Bund and Yumeki Merry.

These are all series where I saw the anime first, and kinda just fancied being able to get the proper ending.
Rosario is a lot better than the anime though, conversely Claymore's kinda dragging now and I think I probably prefered the anime.
