What Games Are You Playing?

I beat The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild last month and moved right onto The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Despite not having stepped foot near a temple yet I’ve unlocked a lot of the depths and some of the sky islands too. The Nintendo Switch 2 Edition once again has 60fps, quicker load times and improved graphics to make an already impressive title that bit better to play.

The latest bargain theme from Humble Bundle is Anime/Japan games. Any of them worth a try?
Funnily enough I just finished playing Digimon Cyber Sleuth and Hackers Memory. It's on this list for £3.66 which is a bargain. I had a great time with it, and hit 95 hours for both game completions. There's even more to do if you wanna do the post game stuff and max out your digimons, so loads of content for pretty cheap.
I will always and forever recommend the Yakuza games too.

I was trawling through the Steam summer sale last night and spotted some images that looked very familiar for a game called Slow living with Princess. Turns out it's based on Banished from the Hero's Party - and it's 55% off until Thursday. I've resisted starting the game (I bought and installed it, but I'm still playing another game). It's got some good reviews.

I have been playing Slow Living With Princess for the past week, and I'm enjoying the traditional farming, fishing, shopkeeping, romance, dungeon crawling, building relationships with villagers aspects. There are a lot of parallels with the novel/anime and a lot of dialogue in the early part. There are a few irritating aspects to the game, such as not being able to sort items in the chests and not being able to change the wake-up time of 9am (I've gone to sleep as late as 6.30am and I still wake at 9 - might try staying awake all night just to see what happens). The shop customers are also annoying, and it took me a while to realise I have to carefully check the prices being offered. Played for around 70 hours total and probably only about a quarter of the way through the plot (there are slots for two more close friends - I'm guessing Yalandra the elf and Tisse the assassin - but I have no idea when they will turn up). Well worth the £7 I paid on Steam.
