What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Today is a good day: it is not often one receives a new(ish) copy of an old favourite. I skipped the UK release in the past, as I own the R1 ver. A friend directed me to a review (by a user that still posts on here/codename 'The Turbanator', iirc: @Just Passing Through?) that highlighted the PAL ver is higher res and with less juddering etc. CeX had one copy. And they even sent it to me in a box instead of a jiffy; possibly in a festive mood. Wonders never cease.

Anyway, took a few photos this morn. This will almost definitely be the last time I post in this thread. Thus, farewell once, and possibly forever more. Godspeed~

...oh, and since I'm much too lazy to post day-to-day stuffies, here's a pic of what I received in the last few weeks (black friday etc.) Aside from Cyberpunk/if order any AL xmas tat, that will be that for the year, and a fair bit beyond.

Got rid my my mess of AoT boxes to CeX, opting for space saving steelbooks. Also got rid of my Manga Hosada films for steelbooks, too.
Disappointing that the discotek sets are bricks, without sleeves. Unless NHK, brick sets can sod off.

I received my order of 8 Collector's Edition titles from AlltheAnime's Christmas sale yesterday, I ordered these late on Day 1 and they shipped the following day to the US. All except Lady Nikuko and Pigtails are double-dips on the US standard releases I already have in my collection; I just wanted to have nicer chipboard box releases. I was very disappointed that Chaika Season 1 was not included in the general sale.

'Tis indeed an excellent way to save money ordering steelbooks: use the Amazon app, switch regions. Done that with Leon, Godfather and others to avoid paying silly oop prices for UK copies, and as Snippy says, only difference is the removeable card. Steelbooks themselves identical. Although sometimes the discs have foreign ratings on them. Not sure if Paprika does.

For some reason, despite knowing this, ordered the Italian ver from Rarewaves, forgetting to check Amazon IT's price. 🤦

Seems to be the same disc for the German and Italian editions. There's French on the label, presumably for Quebec as it wasn't released in France, but the disc code appears to be for the EU.

I didn't want to pay the Blu-ray price and as I have the DVDs for Remembrance of the Daleks and the Cyberman box set.
I decided to complete my McCoy collection with these DVDs. I haven't watched
Happiness Patrol and Greatest Show in the Galaxy for ages.
2 Blu-ray's and some DVDs won't look good on a shelf but hey ho.

Now I need rid of Dragonfire.
