The rest of my applique patches arrived, and some other cool stuff that I'll talk about in subsequent posts - of the ones in this image set, the sequin ones in five different colours, and the orange ones with pink centers you just sew on, all the others have iron-on as an option, I really like all of these, they are as nice or better than the product images

The remainder of the patches (all of these can be ironed on, none of them are sew-only), plus my Snow White Mina Lima book, Pet Shop of Horrors Volume 4 (I started reading Volume 3 the other day) and the three lovely pieces of fabric I recently purchased from Vinted - in the next post, clothes!

Really happy with all of these overall (though the black and red dress is more of a tunic top and damn those itchy sequins on the Dolls Kill one!... Still gonna wear it tho ). My self-designed hoodie arrived as well and I'm overjoyed about it but haven't taken proper pics yet, will try to do that soon

Truly, I had intended to take a hiatus from posting more images after exposing Frieren's chest (despite not posting for years), as I am only able to put forth effort if it is worth the effort. Alas, the fates have forced my hand, for AL(lah) is great....



....well, not really tbh, although I'd like to point out that this is my favourite of AL's vast catalogue of squares. It's textured/verrrrry nice to stroke , with reflective red chara art. And, compared to other squares, it CAN (maybe?) actually fit on a shelf of some description. But with Anime Limited, even when they send early and I like what they send, 'tis bittersweet.



Tltr, mein issue is, it's small. Smaller than Terror Resonance UE, much less Eva. Which leaves me with three AL squares, all of differing sizes. It's like owning matryoshka s, except squared, and they don't go inside each other. I feel like I've scammed myself by ordering something on Amazon, much too lazy to check the measurements. 'Tis cruel.



I WAS planning on displaying the set, pride of place, on top of my Berserk DELUXs. Same exact colouring, and 'tis fitting given Devilman inspired Berserk. However, I am now left feeling like Guts would if one were to gIve 'im a normal sword: utterly impotent. It's like a mini-me next to those gigantic books. And for someone that can relate a little too well to Guts and his desire for extended swords, 'tis deeply distressing.


PS: This is how well it fits on shelves.

I would like @anime_andrew to compensate me somehow - for emotional suffering - but since I doubt that, I shall instead just post some images.

Funny thing is, I have just received a notification 10min ago that it's been delivered at a safe location which I didn't designate and they just left it outside my door at 1.10am!

A number of items purchased over the Black Friday sale period, just before the Anime Limited Christmas sale got going!

So, first off, I decided to pick up My Hero Academia physically, as the first three seasons were a very good price on Rarewaves - I picked up up to season five from Rarewaves, and nabbed the triple film set from Amazon on a BF deal.

I'll probably pick up the remaining seasons and the other film when they go on sale next year at some point. Also, I absolutely love the bundled season and film sets as they contain individual amaray cases and covers! Which seems to be becoming rarer nowadays in these types of sets.



Next, like a number of others here, I picked up the Perfect Blue 4K deluxe set from Anime Limited. Not much to be said about this film, just that it was an instant pre-order for me.

I only owned the standard Blu-ray before, so this is a nice upgrade. I'll probably trade in my standard Blu copy as it's the same disc in this set.



I also picked up the Time of Eve Complete collection from Amazon for ~£12!



Decided to bite the bullet and finish my collection of Hirokazu Koreeda's feature films (thus far) and pick up Distance and Hana from Amazon JP.

Prepare for imminent announcements of these films from European labels now that I've bought these!



And lastly, how many times can they make you buy Yakuza? A few times, apparently. Yes, I got the Yakuza 20th Anniversary Edition from The Game Collection, with the help of some store credit points.

Sad that us physical owners have been screwed over by SEGA (again) for allowing upgrades only for digital owners of the PS4 versions, but it is what it is. Nice steel book at least though.
