This is the first of six original Japanese figures I just purchased in the past week. I ordered all of these in-stock figures from US retailers during their Easter sales, so I got them all at good prices and received them in only 5-6 days. This figure is 1/4 scale and actually larger than I thought she would be. I got her because of her long black hair and red glasses - I love meganekko! Her gym uniform is made of real fabric and not hard molded plastic, so it was a bit of a struggle getting the outfit on her properly!

From Forbidden Planet, I recieved Dragon Ball Super: Volume 23.



This was the volume that came out not long after the passing of Akira Toriyama, and so it contains a poignant and succinct message from Toyotarou:

I also recieved a copy of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 from Currys. Not too much hasn't been said about this game, but I'm really looking forward to seeing what all the hype is about.

A couple of lovely illustrated books that arrived during the past few days (I've already read The Glass Mountain since it arrived and it had very cool pictures and fun stories), and some of the stuff from Temu that arrived today, I am happy with everything here though I haven't put together the 3D wooden puzzle kits yet - as far as I can tell they all come with full assembly instructions. The smaller sea creatures I got two of each type which is nice if you want to have matching sets with a friend or something, and I got two capybaras, one was the one that's like, just a capybara lol and the other was the one with the lil orange dumpling thing on it's head, as for the sketchbook, I have yet to test it, but it does look very pretty

EDIT: I've now tested the sketchbook with my Shuttle Arts Gel Pens, my Kuretake Zig Watercolour Brush Pens, my Arteza Fine Nib Acrylic Paint Pens and my Arrtx Brush-Shaped Nib no Priming Necessary Acrylic Paint Pens, none of them bled through the paper or made layers of paper come off, so it seems to be reasonably decent paper for the prob fairly low gsm

Lots of lovely clothes that arrived today plus my pretty burgundy dress from Yours Clothing and my cute budget lolita dress from AliExpress, I'm happy with all of these, the lolita dress is not super high end but very nice for the amount I paid, and the Temu stuff is all comfortable, fits me well and has clear detailed prints - none are blurry, pixellated or have that "this was generated by AI" look

EDIT: A couple of adorable plushies and a hat that didn't fit also arrived today from Temu, but I'll add those into my next post when the second Temu package due to arrive today has arrived

The courier did an "I attempted delivery" fake where the attempted delivery pic would appear to be a closeup of part of the clothes they were wearing, guess that means I'll get the other stuff tomorrow

(I do sympathise with the courier given the heat! Just a bit frustrated about the delay.)

Plushies are lush, hat doesn't fit (the woes of having a large head!) so will go to charity XP

My Anime Limited sale items arrived today. I have never seen The First Slam Dunk but everyone who talks about it says it is fantastic. Burn the Witch is an upgrade for my standard edition and Venus Wars is a sort of blind buy (I watched the trailer but that's all)
