Also was it fullfilled by amazon or through marketplace.Which Amazon did you get it from? I know Amazon Canada doesn't prepay charges like Amazon US or Japan.
Might be a good idea to ask Amazon about it and try to get a refund on the vat paid to them.
Indeed, that would also make a difference. Marketplace items not fulfilled by Amazon will not have the vat prepaid. Also was it fullfilled by amazon or through marketplace.
Amazon uk through a market place seller which I've done many times and I've never had too pay import costs.Which Amazon did you get it from? I know Amazon Canada doesn't prepay charges like Amazon US or Japan.

Market place items are liable for vat if sent from outside the EU, just like anything else. It doesn't matter if it was purchased on Amazon UK.Amazon uk through a market place seller which I've done many times and I've never had too pay import costs.
I've been buying from the marketplace for a while and never been hit for import tax so put down to bad luck.Market place items are liable for vat if sent from outside the EU, just like anything else. It doesn't matter if it was purchased on Amazon UK.
It would be nice if marketplace sellers say if you have to pay for any extra charges when it arrives. Then in all previous cases you were very lucky , but it's indeed always a bummer when you get hit with custom charges and didn't expect it.

Has anyone told you that you are how rude and argumentative you are.None of them pre-pay VAT like amazon does themselves. I don't know why you'd expect a marketplace seller to pay your vat
Why do I get the feeling it a caricature from a hentai. Why, with all the green on earth, being at work, with it so suitably flagged a warning, must I take a cheeky peek at The spoiler tag? I might as well buy a volume of monmusume or killing bites, wave it around in front of my boss yelling "hey boss! We need to print this!"
It's just something a little ecchi, just an ecchi version of side A.Why do I get the feeling it a caricature from a hentai.
Guess that will take some tweaking, combining an BD and DVD ?
