What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

As I own the Yuuki Yuna and Denkai-Gai sets, I will say RRP for PC sets are high for mostly bare-bones releases

To pay over RRP is really not recommended.

Maybe if S2 was out, then... No, I still wouldn't pay over 80usd/set
 
Only within the US is no big deal, since I know somebody who lives there and could receive it for me. Still, 120USD.... I could get the Japanese volumes 1-3 for that price and have more cover artwork. =/ (Although they'd have almost zero resell value should I ever want to replace them with a more space saving version.)
 
It's the same with Cute High Earth Defense Club LOVE (not that it's out of print, but that they never did anything with the sequels and s2 is the best one). PonyCan USA has really been a dismal failure from the perspective of a collector, which is unfortunate when that's the only market they're trying to serve. I'm inclined to wait it out and see what happens when they inevitably leave the US market or change their strategy around in future.

I do own the Japanese BD release for Last Exile, but it is just an upscale and doesn't look much different from the DVDs... so we wouldn't get anything better in the West then, either, most likely. But the JP box set is really nice... :)

Received these two today. Eureka Seven was a gamble from cex in hopes i would receive the full Ultimate Edition but it arrived without the artbook and poster, oh well even without those it was still a good price. Got Familiar of Zero from MVM using the 20% off code but the case and cover were quite damaged so i messaged MVM and their sending out replacement case and cover.

Most likely yes. Still need to check my French release of Last Exile :oops:. Don't know if there's a screenshot comparison between that set and the JP one.
