Seems to be the same disc for the German and Italian editions. There's French on the label, presumably for Quebec as it wasn't released in France, but the disc code appears to be for the EU.'Tis indeed an excellent way to save money ordering steelbooks: use the Amazon app, switch regions. Done that with Leon, Godfather and others to avoid paying silly oop prices for UK copies, and as Snippy says, only difference is the removeable card. Steelbooks themselves identical. Although sometimes the discs have foreign ratings on them. Not sure if Paprika does.
For some reason, despite knowing this, ordered the Italian ver from Rarewaves, forgetting to check Amazon IT's price.

I didn't want to pay the Blu-ray price and as I have the DVDs for Remembrance of the Daleks and the Cyberman box set.
I decided to complete my McCoy collection with these DVDs. I haven't watched
Happiness Patrol and Greatest Show in the Galaxy for ages.
2 Blu-ray's and some DVDs won't look good on a shelf but hey ho.
Now I need rid of Dragonfire.

I'm not usually in favor of DVDs over blu-rays when the latter is available, but you made a wise choice here. Season 25 I think was the first one where the "restoration" for the blu-rays has obvious use of AI tools with the expected awful results.
It certainly began creeping in with seasons 15 and 25 but wasn’t too egregious for the most part, likewise with season 7 for which the PQ will always be hit and miss due to the missing negatives etc. - Season 13 is where it really went wrong and 21 could end up with similar issues unless they take the backlash to heart.
Nice pickups! Greatest show is one of my favourites from the era.

I've no idea how Sylvester McCoy ranks for everybody else but as I've got older he got higher in my rankings.
Still Pertwee at the top but the Blu-ray's would have to be really cheap for me to buy. Too much of the Master.
Thank the Lord for channel U&Eden for allowing me to enjoy him for nothing.

Season 13 is what got me to start really looking at this. I don't have it as I buy the standard editions so lag about two years behind which means so far I've avoided all these sets with the obvious AI. But I've been going back and comparing the earlier blu-rays to the DVDs...well, via youtube so not the most perfect comparison...and I'm starting to feel the DVDs look better even for the earlier sets. I'm not sure if it's some kind of sharpening/edge enhancement, or if just the resolution and better compression of blu-ray further exposes issues with the original SD video, but there's this sort of...outline, for lack of a better word, on one side of objects that I find distracting, and it seems like there's some overuse of DNR as well, though perhaps that's just youtube compression.
As I've got the blu-ray sets up to that point, I really don't want to have to go back and buy all of it on DVD again, but am feeling like that's maybe what I should do. If I do that, I could just pick and choose the stories I like, but the problem with that is it has been so long since I've seen most of it I don't really know which is which. Of course I can watch the blu-rays first but just finding the time is difficult for now. My fear is that the DVDs will go out of print or maybe they already are; I don't know.
Mine too, but I have the impression it isn't well liked in general. I'm pretty sure I've seen it on a "worst serials" list before.
I first saw Sylvester McCoy as his seasons originally aired, and at that time I didn't like him, having seen Tom Baker, Peter Davison, and Colin Baker not that long before, as I saw those in reruns. But seeing him again some years later I like him a lot. I never saw Jon Pertwee until somewhat later and still haven't seen a lot of his. I also haven't seen much of Patrick Troughton. I think I've only seen the very first episode of William Hartnell, and disliked it so much have never had any desire to see any more.

The US release of Call of the Night LE From Sentai has a lot of glow-in-the-dark highlights on the box and on items inside. It didn't look like the AL box had any of that, as it didn't mention it at all in the description.

Oh that's right; I forgot exactly how the Sentai version was.
From the image above of the AL version, the way the background looks, it could be foil similar to the Frieren slipcover, but as that's hard to photograph that might not be it at all, but that's why I asked.

In any event, thank you for reminding me! I have a 4-foot blacklight mounted in my theater room where I take my Purple Pile Pics™, which I've had since high school back in the 1970's, and it still works - I should unbox my Sentai set and take pics of everything glow-in-the-dark under the blacklight sometime over the weekend. I totally forgot I wanted to do that when I first received the box set back in June.
