What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I haven't posted anything for a long time and a lot of it has accumulated. Plus, because I finally picked up a package from the USA. I don't know if I ever mentioned it, but I use proxy shipping once a year. I send orders from the USA to my virtual locker with an address in the USA and then, in one large package, they send everything straight to my home. I save a lot on it, but the disadvantage is the long waiting time for certain things. Anyway, we're flying:

More manga from my country. I am proud of these beautiful editions. By the way, the manga Eden is probably the best comic book I've read. I am buying it for the second time because I had a very old edition, on poor quality paper, etc. This is a deluxe:

At the end, the figure is in the scale of 1/4 Scáthach. I love these characters and this version is great. The funniest thing is I searched almost every store and got pissed off at the high prices only to end up buying it at my edge for a great price on a store I met 2 weeks ago.

Next time I will not wait> 2 months with photos.

If you don't recognize something and you are interested, ask. On my website I will be slowly reviewing these items, but for now I only keep it in my native language.

No destiny here - I don't read manga, and never have. I used to read a lot of fiction books many, many moons ago, but I've long left that chore to the younger crowd anymore. It's just way easier to flood my eyes with moving video imagery now, in my lazy old age! :cool:

Besides, that manga wouldn't be for me - I had no interest in Prison School, either. Give me uncensored hentai or bust - to heck with that light-weight ecchi fluff! 🥱 😄

Not even dojinshi? Give me a nicely drawn porno comic over most animated hentai any day; they’re usually better with the mosaics anyway given how poorly the censored bits are drawn in anything uncensored I’ve seen. Same goes for a lot of anime boobs, which are often more appealing clothed than not, sadly. So many beach ball boobs with no weight to them and poorly located, tiny nips. Disappointing.

I read manga but never read dojinshi. I do not accept this creation ;)

I mainly read manga which:
  • have no adaptation
  • adaptation does not complete the whole thing
  • adaptation changes a lot / was performed poorly

Trying to think of anime that adapt a whole manga series well is a challenge in itself! That criteria leaves you pretty much 99% of manga to read!
I can think of Death Note & Assassination Classroom and even then the manga is still very much worth reading...

Monster - manga and anime is almost the same. Sakamichi no Apollon (Kids on the Slope) - anime it's better, because of music etc.

Additionally, I skip all manga that was adaptation from anime / LN. I prefer the first version if anything. Likewise, I avoid these manga created from film frames.
 
Good selections there, Denny - my neighbors and I especially enjoyed Record of Grancrest War. I have those MVM releases in my collection, but I'm also purchasing the Aniplex of America releases, since we all were so into the series so much. I'm about due for a re-watch of Blue Exorcist, it's been so many years since I've seen that one, I don't really remember a whole lot from it, lol. I'm sure I'll be showing my AoA Blue Exorcist LE sets to the neighbor couple at some point anyway.
