Eh, there's quite a lot of us here who have multi-region BD players, myself included. To be honest, buying my beloved BDX3200 was the best decision I've made.Yakumo said:I am going to sound really smug now, and for that I ask your forgiveness, but ever since I bought my region-free Oppo blu-ray player the region code of a blu-ray disc has ceased to be a factor in my decision-making process for purchasing an anime blu-ray.
Sorry, but I just had to say that.
To be blunt, interlacing makes things look ****, especially in motion. Go and watch a DVD on your PC using your monitor and it should be evident why it's bad.Invisible Crane said:Can someone please explain to me why 1080i is bad?. I honestly don't know the difference between 1080i and 1080p

It'll probably work the same way as most sentai BD releases, as long as the ability to select titles manually is in that one (since it's the first BD release from Maiden Japan and I can't be that sure if they'd be done the same way even the two companies do have a distributor in common).BDT87 said:Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 has been released now, I have seen a few updates on YouTube, people picking it up. But no one has confirmed is its Region Free yet?
It says A on the case but wonder if it will work on region B as well.
Cheers
I won't say 100% yes yet, but usually all Funi do with these complete sets is take the same discs and repackage them. It wouldn't be worth paying massive amounts re-authoring the discs just to lock us out.Dannielle said:Anyone know if this will be Region A&B like the other Sekirei titles? - https://www.up1.co.uk/Details/S2956

Oh! That does make sense. I'll sit and wait for some form of confirmation JUST to be sure. Thank you :]
I have all of Funi's Shana releases and every single one is locked. I have a Sony Region B player, so was hoping the BD's might be A&B? Cheers
