The OVA is DVD only, right? So if owners of the original BD like myself did want to double dip (I know Manga are selling the disc seperately at a con, but if they did) then they might as well get DVD with the nekkidness.
I'd be miffed if I was one of the first time buyers who didn't have any HOTD yet but had BD capabilities. No sexy cover for you. Unless of course that's a slipcase with boobies inside.

Manga, at least put in a more "high street store shelf safe" slip cover (as we'll call it).
Speaking of slip covers, I was wondering what people's thoughts on them are? Generally I don't like them (especially FUNimation's DVD height ones 9.9) but I recently purchased the Skyfall bluray for Mum (steelbook was sold out) and it's a standard amaray, but with white slip cover that has none of this "DVD + BD + Digital Copy" banner crap (it just says it in fancy gold lettering), has the logo, artwork and BBFC logo and it looks really classy. Especially as the standard BD amaray case can look...kinda tacky at times.
I am so tempted by the FMA:B blu-ray box though. I have the entire series on DVD, but I do love the show.

Also a note, I can tell you for a that while the HOTD: DOTD edition Blu-ray cover has changed on online listings, the image that has been posted above (along with the FMA:B and P&S ones) are not final versions and still subject to change. (In fact that goes for all titles within the Q2 window.)
I do like the HOTD: DOTD cover, I just don't want to see what would happen if for some reason, a family member takes it off my shelf and...well. My personal suggestion would be to try and get approval for the main face artwork (as in, the cover that will be visible on a high street shelf) as being more SFW (like the previous boxset image that was posted in this thread - still has a hint of sexy but isn't NSFW) as either the main cover or a slip cover, then have the DOTD artwork as the artwork for the amaray inside the slip cover, or as a reversible. In fact, if you can get your hands on more art assets, that might be a cool thing to do for a lot of future releases - give the slip cover and amaray cover different artwork.
Heck, I'm sat in my front room writing this and I was on Google getting some Strike Witches images for a friend (introducing the series to him - he thought Yoshika was adorable so I was like "No, Barkhorn") and my step-dad walked in, so I quickly changed tabs...HOTDOTD cover...so I had to quickly swap again xD.
In fact, abbreviating it to "HOTD: DOTD" makes it almost sound like "Hotdog". Can we call the release "Hotdog" from now on? It also kinda fits erm...

On the bright side, there aren't any shops left on the high street, so it doesn't really matter what's on the cover now, unless your elders and betters watch over your shoulder as you surf and e-shop.

I'm 21.
