Amazon Arrietty (Blu-ray)[DVD]
Play.com Arrietty (Blu-ray)

The newer listing is also mentioned to be classified "PG" in the Amazon details, suggesting that the cover might be a dummy atm. Although I could not actually believe that this movie would ever be released as anything other than a "U".

K-On! Complete Collection

From MangaUK's Twitter. Pending licensor's approval apparently.

Would have looked better on blu-ray tbh.

Looks just like the US one I have on my shelf IIRC so I can't imagine the licensor will be upset.

Exactly my thought. Looks just like the American one, just with the MangaUK logo and the PG certificate.

Putting better artwork on the complete collection than you do on the individual parts ftl. :-/

edit: Amazon has something different, though? That image is used on the US BD set of the first season, I see, so maybe Amazon has a placeholder?

Love the Spice and Wolf cover. Simple, but a nice one. Hope season 2 will get a release too.

That Birdy cover >_>

An improvement over the previous two.

I really think they should have avoided placing the Kaze logo randomly on Bleach Fade to Black. It looks odd when compared against the other two.

And just .... with Black Butler.

Spectrapular Black Butler collection cover art, and the Birdy collection also gets an upgrade over the individual sets. May get both at some point.

It wouldn't be produced on film, it would be a print, or a digital projection so it is irrelevant, although you would expect a decent level if detail in something intended for display on the big screen.

The old school film anime that benefits from BD transfer was was produced by photographing the cells onto film. No-one makes cell-based anime any more.

It's a shame that the rating has to stick to the cover, the Manga logo would have been better on the right hand side for Angel Beats.

Also seems for the B&T cover, someone messed up the placement of the rating. More it further to the right.
