UK Anime Release Schedule -Updated-

Found out the Princess Kaguya item on Amazon is a documentary and not the actual film :( Though that would explain the lack of BD.

Also - Amazon update:

"Onimonogatari [Blu-ray]"
Estimated arrival date: March 19 2015 - March 21 2015

That's odd, I thought I'd moved it to that date already. Losing my mind.

Tis true. We mentioned in this in our newswire earlier this week :) (See this: http://www.alltheanime.com/anime-limite ... ra-update/ )

Probably worth mentioning it was meant to be into Q3 anyway - but someone who definitely isn't me* managed to enter it as end of June by mistake.

* It was totally me. Sorry!

Finally some new anime to add to my schedule. It's been way too long since I was last able to put a date on anything that I actually want to buy (more than half a year in fact).

Previously on Manga Entertainment Delays ...:

For those looking forward to Samurai Bride, it has been delayed by over 2 months to 6 April 2015. Still to only be released on DVD, screwing those who bought S1 on BD over.
And now on Manga Entertainment Delays ...:
Amazon UK reports that Samurai Bride is facing another delay ... by three extra month, extending the total delay to over 5 months ... for a barebones DVD-only release. Due 6th of July 2015 now.

Is this the last delay? Or is Amazon crying wolf? Probably not.

Wasn't Samurai Bride originally supposed to be one of their first releases of the year? Whenever Manga has delays these days, they seem to be delays of months as opposed to weeks - is it due to assets not being ready or lack of manpower at the company to coordinate?

I tend to choose to buy all of my animes on Blu-Ray from either Australia or the USA nowadays as opposed to any of the releases over here because there's always so much more choice :)

Ambition of Oda Nobuna on DVD has been delayed a week till April 13th on MVM's online store : http://www.anime-on-line.com/xcart/prod ... =59&page=1
Blu Ray's delayed till April 27th: http://www.anime-on-line.com/xcart/prod ... =59&page=1
Log Horizon Part 1 on Blu Ray delayed till April 27th : http://www.anime-on-line.com/xcart/prod ... =59&page=2

Adjusted schedule.

I do wonder what causes the delays with the BD's, seems to be a common occurrence with MVM lately. Not a complaint about it, just interested in why really.
