UK Anime Christmas Sales for 2024 [Anime Ltd's 12 Days of Xmas + More]

On one hand I am really glad we get to see what inside the mystery boxes but the on the other hand none of the titles are worth getting which creates quite a shortfall in getting past the £150 for free international shipping, maybe the discounts for Anime Limited's MVM titles could help reach the target.

Honestly I would prefer to buy MVM Entertainment as their shipping is cheaper to absorb but I want to wait and see what's in their mystery box bundles, pity some of the Collector's Editions is bit too expensive to consider buying due to exchange rates.
These days I get my anime from JB HI-FI even if they have limited amount of CE sigh.

Hmm how big do you guys thing are the chances that they will relist/increase stock of other sold out items again?

For example I have been observing the pt. 2 of Full Metal Alchemist (2020 edition) being out of stock in the days before the sale (after the info about getting last chances from the youtube sale presentation) and despite being OOS in the week(s) prior to the sale they've added it to the CE segment along with a discounted price.
Is that just AtA being a tease or lazy (or both?!)

At least in the last years I've seen items reappear (can't say which, though) after being sold out on one day of the sale (just like with Future Diary with 43 copies in stock as of now)...

Ballsed up and ordered the Black Lagoon CE last night, will see if I can get that removed from my order otherwise will have to return it as the lower price is too good to pass up.

Annoyingly I already settled for the standard sets, perhaps would have gone for the CE if I knew it was only going to be £5 extra.

Ah well, you win some you lose some. You may as well buy the CE on offer and just cancel/return the more expensive copy.

I wasn't expecting them to drop the prices for the last chance stuff!

As ever, this is always the point that I look at stuff here and remember how much I paid for these sets in previous years and how many I have still yet to watch. You think I’d learn but it’s not looking likely.

Second order went better. Discount code used, Bakuon acquired for almost nothing. Hopefully that should be it now, that's a bit more than I was planning on spending.

Just waiting for the Lupin Part VI CE to inevitably go on sale now and force me to make a 3rd order, but that might have to wait for next year. It's not like I've even watched Part V I got from last year's Christmas sale yet.

Okay that last chance offer was better than expected (although for completion I could have used the FMA pt II and APFTTU restock)

Actually ordered way more than planned with some of the OOP series/movies added purely on a whim...

There's a note about on the collector's set for season 1 of Durarara to say that the discs will be the crap ones with subtitle issues.

I was thinking about getting it to house my standard edition discs, but paying £20 for cardboard and some art cards seems unwise.
