That's correct as in it's not been officially confirmed to have an western release or English language option for the Japanese release.

However, a few things to note is that the old website (if I recall) were viewable in both Japanese and English. Additionally, English text has been shown to be used in their marketing on social media and exhibition booths (see photo below). Bandai Namco Entertainment will be publishing the game in Japanese regions, so the likely chance is that they'll also handle the western release.

As of now, pre-orders for the special edition bundles of the physical game are now live at ASOBI STORE (Japan online retailer).

Originally intended to release for Switch/PlayStation 4|5/Steam in 2025 but has now been delayed to Spring 2026.

"Further details on the other products and the start date for reservations and pre-orders will be announced at a later date." So they say
