Top 10 Bands?

Will-O'-The-Wisp

So guys, favourite 10?

Little debates between you all about your choices are fine, but lets keep the flaming the a minimum, Kay'?

This may turn into some sort of "Music Thread" a good few posts in, but that's cool. Also, if a thread like this has already been created, then too bad ^^.

(Also, this is to prove to a friend that you don't have to be some scary, metal loving psychopath to be part of an anime forum.)

Mine be the following:
1. Iron Maiden
2. Dir En Grey
3. Machine Head
4. Metallica
5. Pantera
6. Avenged Sevenfold
7. SlipKnot
8. Trivium
9. Bleeding Through
10. Chimaira

Mine hardly prove the metal loving thing I said further up, but I'm hoping we'll get a little more variety!

So! Go, beeches, it's your turn.

Popular isn't the word I'm thinking of.

I can't make a list of my top 10 simply because I don't have one but this is who I've been listening to a lot lately.

Dido, Brian Eno, Rush, Johnny Cash, John Cale, DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince(yeah, I'm a 80's hip hop mood), Cheap Trick, Primus, Mike Garson, Imogen Heap.

Yeah, I heard, I was going to go anyway for MSI and BMTH [Black Tide would've been for the lulz and I dunno about the other band] But Dir en Grey being added to just makes it easier for me. Plus I bought my ticket today, so...

Also, I find it difficult to give a solid top ten, my tastes change a lot, should I give it a try?

Arch Enemy, Sambomaster, Mindless Self Indulgence, King Crimson, Bloc Party, Susumu Hirasawa, Paramore, Dir en Grey, Hadouken!, Does it Offend You, Yeah?

Other bands/musicians I listen to sometimes: SOUL'd OUT, Slayer, X Japan.

1. Children of Bodom
2. Metallica
3. Turisas
4. Megadeth
5. Dragonforce

Those are the big uns. That order (below 1) gets rearranged all the time.

I'm more into the classics...

1 - Mettalica
2 - Megadeth
3 - Iron Maiden
4 - AC/DC
5 - Sepultura
6 - The world inferno friendship society
7 - Pixies

Those are the bands that I like most everything, I like several others as well, but in different degrees.

Seriously, I'm surprised they're playing so close! Msi arne't bad either! Though... I'm not sure about the other bands. Black Tide are pretty good if they played the song I'm thinking of.
But still.
Dir En Grey.
