The Rant Thread

lol i like your idea, but thankfully she's fat enough to have fallen down her stairs a few times anyway. its the 8th floor we work on...its only a matter of time until she's rolling down all 8 floors and well have an earthquake to deal with lol.

I hate the new government, I thought the last one was a disgrace, but the new takes the biscuit, acadamies, free schools, NHS privatisation and now this big society sham guff, seriously, its all so stupid and transparent, dont even get me started on the fudging cuts.

It's tough living with a mum like that.

Me and my mum had a tough time getting on when i was a teenager too, our personalities are too similar and wanting independance as you grow up doesn't help matters.

what i'd advise you to do is to get home and tidy up, throw the vaccume cleaner about and make it nice. she'll probably thank you and its an easy way to get the laptop back. now the next thing comes more with experience; when you can forsee an argument on the horizon....either stay in your room and learn to avoid it. or simply agree to whatevers being said, then do your own thing later on when she can't moan.

things get easier as you get older.

Save and save bastards, if you ask me. All they see is numbers. They made lots of good promises, but "forgot" (sarcasm) to mention the price. We'll live the price for the next years, and it won't be an easy one.
Companies are already seeing a rise in profit, but they're still cutting down on expenses. Meaning: unemployment won't change much.
I'd say it sucks when a government starts working for a image rather than its own people; although that's pretty much all we get nowadays.
Labour isn't that different. They ****** up. And if the other party ***** up as well that just means we were doomed from the very beginning.

Labour take a lot of punishment from the media over the recession, even though that was not their fault. At least they are more in touch with what the majority of the people need, even if the people themselves, in their ignorance, do not always realise this.

It is so hard to work when your boss doesn't make you feel involved. I suppose my tendency to hold a grudge and overanalyse past interactions does not help - but **** it, I HATE HIM TO THE CORE!

I voted Lib Dem in a misguided moment of stupidity, if I could change, I would have voted Green.

Labour are a joke imo, they don't even know what they stand for anymore, Harold Wilson and Clement Attlee, now those were good PM's, if Labour still had them and some of there actual Left Wing policies, then I would gladly vote for them, Blair and Brown and New Labour I wouldnt vote for if you paid me, almost as bad as the tories imo.

"Government"
Democracy, as they say, is an empty lie. Every time I find myself believing there may be some shred of decency in those who lead us (...into the pens to graze a while before our ultimate fate) I now punch myself in the face to remind me of how utterly, utterly stupid such thoughts are.

As for Labour being any better than the Tories or Lib-Dems... Yeah, the great "socialist" party who presided over the greatest erosion of personal liberty and used the people's money to fund foreign oil wars. Up against the wall, the whole damn lot of them. Our leaders exist for no other reason than to take more and more our our rights and wealth to enrich themselves and those they favour and consolidate all the power in the hands of those same privileged few. They are gluttonous, soulless bastards with not one iota of empathy between them.

And that's how you rant about the government.

I don't think they could swing it with left wing stuff, i mean lib dems are only in power now because of the coalition. Most people have been lead to believe that left wing = bad, i mean look at the trouble Obama had in america getting the social health care reform bill through. A lot of people over there were comparing it to communism. It probably doesn't help that some of the media outlets over here are headed by a right winger mind...
