The Official "what good deed have you done today"

No deaths at work, it is getting all to tempting just to throw a certain someone over the balcony.

The visions of severing someone’s vocal cords are getting stronger. Also had a fantasy about erecting a cage in the car park where I force people that piss me off to fight to the death with machetes.

I'm thinking a head doctor will be on the case soon to help you.

May help I just don't have the confidence to cary out my plans.

thought about helping Dracos.
(you can have 3/4 of this office staff too, why do they allow O.A.P's with little-to-no I.T knowledge to work with computers??)

I sit next to one like that. He has no idea about spreadsheets and half our systems, yet is a complete whiz when it comes to getting around the BBC web pages when he should not be. I just love the way he moans about people texting and making personal calls when there not supposed to, whilst he is sat there breaking another company rule.

Quite happy at the mo no work bank holiday weekend (downside interview Tuesday so need to revise). When I go back the walking headache generator that sits two desks away from me is off for another two days woohoo.

I cleaned my room! ...At last, it is clean >_<. I had to sort out a lot of games to sell so that I will have enough cash, and room for a bunch of anime and manga on my wish list!

The interview was not too bad, well I don't think I failed to answer any questions just not sure I gave the examples they wanted or quite the full answers. It was only for a job of the same grade in a different department, I feel like a bit of a change. It is a couple of years since I had an interview so I was mainly using it as a trial run for when I get the interview for my bosses job some time in the next couple of weeks. Still not sure I want my bosses job though as it is a lot more work and responsibility for not much more cash, may even pull out if I get offered the other job.

My good deed for the day making more tea and coffee runs than my fair share today.

Also not strangling the OAP next to me at work in his sleep even though he gave me the opportunity a couple of times. I swear one of these days when he is really out I am going to see if I can pull his chair away from the desk without him realising. Then when he goes to grab his mouse as he does when he wakes up to make it look like he is working, he will grab fresh air instead.

Saw someone's car keys on the road while I was crossing it and took them to the local Police station.
I'd like to think someone would do the same for me in such a tight situation.

Hey Dracos, good luck mate. Hope you get a nice job.

My good deed of the day was wishing a total stranger good luck.

Thanks Chaos, you won't find many stranger than me. 8)

Tachi- I work for Wales And West Utilities (was part of Transco for Wales and the South West before the sell off). At the moment I work in Third Party Connections, basically allowing the competition companies to make connections off our pipes and keeping track of what they are doing. The job I went for was in our Network Analysis department, modelling our pipes so we can see what happens when new customers come on and the like.

My bosses job that I have gone for aswell is managing my department it is only seven people, but the other resposibilities are pretty big things like reporting to Ofgem and the HSE, trying to keep the competetion companies in line and happy when working in our netwok area, also investigating illegal connections and theft of gas.

Todays good deed was helping the guy next to me recover a spreadsheet he had saved but could not find where he had, unfortunately he had managed to save another copy over it (from an email) so all the extra data he was asked to put in was gone. So it was a bit of a waste of time really, but this time he did it right so no re-doing it again.
