Thousand Master
Have you forgotten how reluctant Toei is to make their series available anywhere? In all honesty I'm more surprised CR got it for as many places as they did.
I haven't forgotten how much they get off of being utter c'ts, I can tell you that much.kuuderes_shadow said:Have you forgotten how reluctant Toei is to make their series available anywhere? In all honesty I'm more surprised CR got it for as many places as they did.

Berserk Manga to Resume After Miura Runs 6-Chapter Mini-Series
Kentarou Miura's Gigantomakhia is set 100 million years in the future
This year's 22nd issue of Hakusensha's Young Animal magazine is announcing on Friday that Kentarou Miura will launch a brand-new original manga mini-series called Gigantomakhia. The six-chapter story is set in a world 100 million years in the future, and it will begin with a 44-page chapter with a color opening page. Young Animal adds that Miura's Berserk manga will resume after his new mini-series.
Hakusensha published the 37th compiled book volume of Berserk in Japan on March 29. Dark Horse Comics will publish the same volume in North America in December. The manga inspired a new movie trilogy from Studio 4°C that Viz Media is releasing in North America.

NormanicGrav said:Lucky Star celebrates with it's 10th Manga Volume (yes, the manga series is still continuing) and adds some special covers including one with a crossover from the latest Fate series Kaleid Prisma Illya. Another store chain, Toranoana, will instead bundle a clear file with the Lucky Star cast dressed in tigers kigurumi costumes. (The "tora" in Toranoana is the Japanese word for "tiger.")
My crystal ball says Kazé will delay it to Q3 2114.NormanicGrav said:Sentai Filmworks will be releasing The Pet Girl of Sakurasou: Collection 2, Mardock Scramble: The Third Exhaust, and To Love Ru - Darkness in March 2014. That's one more Kaze title to get some release during the Q2 2014 era.

That was shortly after Tokyopop went down though. If you ask Yen/Seven Seas/Kodansha on social media these days, they all say the same thing about license rescues - they don't like them. I certainly would like to see Yen Press take up the series though.Rosencrantz said:Joshawott said:Seems like most US manga licensors hate license rescues.
Yen & Seven Seas snagged a few choice titles from the ADV/Tokyopop days though. I suppose if anyone would do it, it would be Yen as they are the only ones interested in 4 panel stuff it seems and they do have links with Kadokawa

Series like Lucky Star are worse in that most of it has already been released in the West (8 volumes out of the 10 have been released already).
