They also said that Eva 1.0 and 2.0 will be shown outwith the main weekends, so they will probably be shown on the mon-wed segment in edinburgh.

Manga had previously tweeted that Deadman Wonderland scored 18 points from the BBFC jury.

It's on the BBFC site now, and it confirms that they kept their snippers sheathed during the process.

Looks like we get just what the Japanese Blu-ray purchasers got!

Unfortunately though, Greg Ayres is listed as a cast member xD.

It's interesting to see that they check both language tracks - does that mean MangaUK have to pay more for the releases being dual-language?

Yes. Which is one reason for the popularity of dubtitles at one point.
According to one of Manga's podcasts, the fees are £75 per disc, then £6/min for the audio and £10/min for the subtitles.

Hmm, I suppose it makes a certain amount of sense to check the JP track alongside the subs that accompany them. It'd be a good idea to make sure the subtitles don't have anything in them that the dub perhaps omitted and likewise you never know when the JP track might have a smattering of English.

As long as it's not some new method of disc checking that adds £££ to the overall costs

I hope that's £10 a min because they have to check the foreign audio and read, because otherwise it seems like they are charging a hell of a lot for being forced to do some reading.

Also how would dub titles be cheaper? Do they have some kind of weird rule that if you tell them they are dub titles they auto allow them for free? Surely they'd want a fee to check they really do match the dub?

They're a bunch of old men who are employed by glorious one party to censor all media coming into the island. The 'f do you think they're going to do? Charge a fair rate?

Anime Limited have said on their facebook page that this Friday they will be anouncing the majority of their new line-up for this year.

for Scotland Loves Anime

We know one of them is Evangelion 3.0.

Garden of Words is likely
Maohu Shojo Madoka Magica Part I & II & III is a possibility
Steins;Gate: Deja Vu is quite possible since Eng Subs are released with JP BD

What else could show up?

If Madoka Magica Part 3 and Steins;Gate are among the line-up, I'll be very poor in October xD. I'll have to go to Edinburgh due to my father booking a holiday though 9.9

2012 Lineup:

Up on Poppy Hill
Wolf Children
Berserk - Egg of the King
Berserk - Battle for Doldrey
Gyo - Tokyo Fish Attack
Blood C - The Last Dark
Tiger & Bunny - The Beginning
K-On! - The Movie
Anime Mirai Project
Nerawareta Gakuen
After School Midnighters
Ace Attorney

So, I would imagine they'd show the third Berserk movie

Perhaps also The Wind Rises?

I'm still hoping for either Escaflowne or Wolf's Rain. A mix of new and old in the line-up would be good. We'll probably find out the dates for Gurren Lagann.

I'm still bummed out about having to miss the K-ON! movie and Ace Attorney last year. Damn money.

The only thing that makes me doubt Puella Magi Madoka Magica The Movie Part III: Rebellion being at Scotland Loves Anime is that it's due out in Japan on 26th October, whereas SLA is from 11th-13th in Glasgow and 18th-20th in Edinburgh. MangaUK did also previously hint that they were in talks about having a showing of the movies.

Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing Saint Young Men, although I wonder about the reception it would receive here xD. Dragonball Z: Battle of Gods maybe? Although didn't FUNimation say that all DBZ movies have to be offered to Fox first?
