I found out that im banned from the cats subreddit for a comment i made on second of this month today the mod me to apologise/grovel to get the ban removed.then I got a 3 day mute I don't think i will with bother getting the ban lifted because the mods may run off to reddit admin and cry wolf about harassment and get reddit wide ban this can happen on reddit.

Some guy found kitten in the street asked for help but said that they couldn't make an hour drive they literally couldn't be bothered.i called the guy a cruel prat pos.then they let everyone know they live in Egypt after they edited there og post and i wasn't the only one that called the guy out.

If it's something you've really enjoyed posting on then maybe reconsider.
However, I'm a never go back kinda guy.
I was banned from my football forum for a comment on the thread about the killing of the American right wing Charlie??.
I could have used a different email to rejoin but have not.

Anyhoo, how did they find the cat if they're an hour away?

I got called a pedo over this on reddit. I have have been inappropriately touched by someone as kid and some pos calls me a pedo.

There's literally no evidence of him being a pedo Giuffre say he didn't do anything inappropriate. Why are you doubting what Giuffre said. What happened to Innocent till Proven guilty?
 
Its coming up to over a month that i pre ordered mondo ghostbusters Winston figure at the end of February and still prossing zavvi seem to be waiting on the supplier for stock.its 130 on eBay for it.
 
Been a crazy past few days at work. They announced a downsizing to the business which meant that 20 people in total were at risk of redundancy, including myself, but only 13 would be redundant. The results were in today and can confirm I survived but everyone assumed I was safe anyway.

The downsize did mean that our marketing team have been reduced from 7 members to 4, so I lost my manager and 2 others (these two were also on visas so they're in a worse situation). Surprised they didn't crack down on marketing sooner considering 4 of 7 members were on £40k+ annual salaries.

My boss and the head of business handled the consultation process and while I did consider providing extra feedback to support my case, I decided not to as my boss also managed me for a good portion of my role over the years (until we brought in a manager for marketing in general before the business doubled in size), so I figured I had nothing to lose since he knows how hard I work. If I had lost my job, redundancy pay deal looked decent as I worked 2+ years and was in the 21-41 age bracket, plus any annual leave and claim time back would be honoured which was a surprise as I would have though they wouldn't consider that.

Regardless I survived but sad to see team members go. This the first time I had to go through this risk of redundancy process. I've witnessed it before but not for my department. For some context, around this time last year the business grew massively by acquiring two companies which meant double the staff, so I suspect they were hoping it would have worked out but in the end it wasn't sustainable.

In the end, I still have my position. I know some folks here were concerned about my personal well-being considering I work harder than I normally should, but I can confirm that the workload has eased a lot in recent weeks due to recent changes in the business throughout the past five weeks. For the last year or two I was pretty much doing two jobs worth and with the newer business changes that emerged this past week that approach is now gone completely, so it's like the early days of my role but with additional people to help balance the workload this time.
 
Redundancies always follow acquisitions, I don't think there are any exceptions. They will never keep the full combined teams of Marketing, HR, Admin, etc. Also if the head company is known for outsourcing, then they will definitely outsource jobs from the acquired company, making even more people redundant.

I've been through an acquisition myself and as soon as it happened we all knew redundancies were coming, but it went further than we even expected. They essentially declared that everyone would be made redundant and we would be able to compete reapply to a few renamed job positions while 90% of the job was outsourced.
