I phoned dpd customer service and was given an email to pay import duty now i just have to wait for the email.

I had to email them explaining the issue because they just told me to click on a link to pay import duty in an email I never received so I'm waiting to hear back from them and I finally got the seller to do something at their end i told them Chronopost is part of the dpd group so they are looking into it.

Good news dpd sent me a link to pay the import duty.

Currently toying with the idea to head to Osaka in late March next year, although I can't decide on how many days would be ideal for general touristy stuff. I'm a bit rubbish when it comes to foreign trips
