Recovered from flu. However, the pressure in my head whilst I had it combined with my immune system being otherwise occupied means that I've now got an infection in one of my wisdom teeth. Dentist on Thursday....

augh wisdom teeth, 7 months later and i'm still getting pain where they took mine out cause the bone hasn't fused :(

Went to dentist. He took one look at it, said "that's pretty bad" and gave me strong antibiotics. Noises were also made about possibly taking it out :/

depends on the damage, if the antibiotics clear it and it says good, you're clear, if it starts to abscess again there's something causing it, and it's easier to just remove it.

Ha, well I ended up getting ill on Sunday and have been ill all week and counting. I had to take a half day on Tuesday (7th day on the new job...) but felt better on Wednesday but I went to bed late on Thursday and have fell sh*t again since :(

I dressed up as Alice In Wonderland for a party last night. I know it was partly the style of the dress but I feel I look like a fat sh*t again so despite the cold, I'm going to try and diet although all I really want is warm yummy unhealthy food to feed this cold. I'm hoping the boy finally joins me on behaving since he's spent like 4 months moaning about his weight gain and doing it together should hopefully make it easier!!

You know when things are bad in the local town when the local 24 hour Asda decides enough is enough and reduces the opening hours (6am to midnight). Probably cost more to keep it open in those 6 hours then they get from profits, a shame as no-more 1am Asda raids on a Friday night returning from an event within London :(

My bet in the run up to the Winterval celebrations it will back at 24 hours

I decided that I would go to MCM Comic Con this month. It's also going to be my first con.

Travelling wise, myself and others are going by bus so that we can get there for the morning and head back home the same day. With Friday off I can get plenty of sleep in preparation.

Cash wise, I may focus on other things than anime but it depends on the price themselves. If I find imports (anime or games, I am aware that it's randomised though so not every con might be legit versions) and wall-scrolls then I'll get those instead.

Welp, first time in 6 years i've been to the dentist and it wasn't pleasant. Been told i should consider having two teeth removed, while two others are a simple job to work on. Problem i have is that, i'm absolutely terrified of needles. have been for years, so any work i need done won't happen with any anesthetic. So any teeth needing removed needs to be done while i'm under, or not at all. Not only that. £84 for a check-up and x-ray. how ridiculous is that? urgh

Had another job interview last Friday. Since then I have had an email saying I did not get the job. A little disappointed but also a little relieved since I was told at the interview it was 8am to 5pm which would have been a pain to get to since I rely on public transport - one of the buses I used to get to the interview does not leave early enough for an 8am start so I would have had to either get 3 buses with a 2 minutes walk or 2 buses and walk 18 minutes compared to the 2 buses and 2 minutes walk it took to get to the interview.

I feel for you Arbalest, I don't like needles either. As an asthma sufferer I should get a flu jab each winter. I get asked each year when I go for my annual asthma check up at the doctors but I keep saying no because I don't like needles.

Found out that my work offers Rosetta Stone access for our personal development. Thought I'd make use of this so I've started the basic Japanese course. I probably won't become fluent or anything, but I figured knowing some common phrases would be useful. Planning my first trip to Japan next year and I figured it would help.

If you're looking to learn, I can heartily recommend this book, they way it teaches the language is brilliant and really intuitive > http://www.amazon.co.uk/Japanese-Zero-T ... +from+zero

Royal Mail haven't delivered my Beauty & The Beast dress :( The woman who sent it my has a confirmation of receipt, I think that's just with RM themselves. I'm going to have to contact the sorting office or the main office and give them hell or something. Eugh. This has never happened to me before with mail.

If RM confirm delivery to the house, it wasn't my Mums house! I have a small feeling that my Mums chav wag wannabe neighbour might of had it posted and kept it as it's purdy. It was posted 2 weeks ago :'(

I've not had an injection for about, er...15 years? i think, so yeah it's been pretty bad for me. I got my root canal 6 years ago without anesthetic and told i was a monster for not feeling any form of pain XD but i'd feel it for teeth being removed i expect =/

Finally about ready to go on holiday now. got 3 weeks off starting tomorrow, just in time for SLA. Finally going to be back in edinburgh for most/all of it so i can finally get work done and relax at the same time. Seriously can't wait. Just gotta get through a night shift tonight, then away to edinburgh half an hour after i finish.

Today felt like one of those days when you just really don't get on with people. I always think it's easy to just think 'Oh, I'm into anime and stuff - It's not supposed to be easy like that', but the industry I work in is very social, so I often feel a bit like the odd one out. Not that I mind it for the most part - I've become pretty used to it by this point, and I'm good at putting on a bit of a mask when I need to. But still, there's always the odd days where you just feel like 'argh'.

I do worry sometimes if it's a bit of a chicken/egg scenario. I like socialising, but only in small doses, and with people I know well - for so long, especially at uni, I tried to force myself to push myself out of the box a bit, but it just felt so false and never seemed to get me anywhere - and then I'd just get even more frustrated. But over the past year, I sort of became comfortable with just being 'me' as I figured it gave me more enjoyment. But is that acceptance, or giving up? Now I wonder if I've almost gone in the other direction and shut myself off. And I thought by your twenties you were supposed to know, ha!

My V5C form has finally arrived from the DVLA, not a moment too soon as my insurance company had given me up until this Wednesday to produce it, or they'd cancel my policy!

'Pandora's Bunny Updaaaaate'. Yeah so, Tiree got spayed a week ago and she was mad at me and bit me really hard as punishment. She's better now and showering me with licks again. Yay! Gosh but the scar on her tummy is big! Guess it's because she's so little.

Since I've had her she's gone through two laptop chargers and a phone charger. My phone charger was literally in bits, I still keep finding bits of wire scattered about! Rabbits are amazing. No idea how she even gets the chargers, turn around a second later and she's ripped it to bits.

Hello all :)

I've been MIA for a while! It's cause this is my 5th week at the new job and I still don't have access to even log into a PC! My work is done by 11am then I have nothing to do until 2.30. Since I have nothing to do between that time, I go away from my desk from time to time as I deem that better than being sat there clearly doing nothing. I got grassed on for doing that by my trainer and it got brought up in my 121. My trainer is on his phone and on the internet once the work's done. If I had PC access I could email or internet myself and wouldn't be leaving my desk! He purposely locks me out too as I'm having to me logged in as him atm.

My dress still hasn't arrived and it's getting close to raising a case with RM. The seller is hesitant and probably thinks I'm lying since she's sent me a screenshot with the status of "complete".

My puppy is my baby. He cheers me up all the time :)

I'm not going to MCM on the weekend and this makes me sad. I'm playing lots of Borderlands The Pre Sequel with my Brother.

This is a catch up on me :)

How are you all?

I'm giving MCM a miss for the first time in quite a while this weekend. I'd love to go, and the atmosphere is always incredible, but I just have too much in my backlog to get through already, and I know if I went to MCM, I'd just stock up on more stuff. I need a bit of self-control, I've been so bad this month with impulse buys.
