Pangs? Pangs? Wait 'til you're just both of those things all the time.

Hey, wasn't sure where to put this buuuttt, I noticed some of you buy Reigion 1 BD's & I was wondering where you got the BD players from? OR/AND if you unlocked them? If you unlocked them could you tell me the make?

My current one is impossible to unlock, looked everywhere.

This thread mentions a few models. I haven't really looked for a while since I got mine a long time ago. It's usually just a remote code to unlock the ones which can be unlocked, but unlike DVD players there are very few unlockable BD players. Be wary of firmware updates once you have one - on some models such as my discontinued "Maidston" newer firmware is known to disable the region switching.

Thanks so so much :)

Heh. It's a cracking combination to be sure.

Danielle: the Toshiba BDX3200KB is unlockable via Australian firmware - details here. It's very simple, and all you need is a USB stick or a recordable CD.

£70 from Hughes Direct via Play.com seems like a good price, though it may be cheaper elsewhere.

You guys are great! Seriously, thanks! Me & my bf have spent hours trying to figure out how to unlock ours & trying to find BD players that could be unlocked.

Purchasing them in sufficient quantity is optimally economical. I have yet to carry home my groceries by rail, however.

Thats one bonus to summer, all the great looking women come out from the woodwork.

Indeed they do. I like to call it "The Summer Perv".

Don a cosplay (not required), awaken hidden confidence and become the likes of myself and Voddas, The Pervy Sages.

Meanwhile in the real world, A storm has decided to appear and wake me up, of course not happy about this, was sleeping nicely too :(

Thats right polarbear man. Its bloody horrible out there, though to make light of the sudden downpour and the very soaking walk up the road from my car to work i felt suddenly very relaxed and at peace with the world, as no matter how horrible it looks; its friday and i was happy to sing "singing in the rain" as i walked through it.

Though this does spoil my plans to work on the car this weekend i may defy nature and build a gazebo on the drive, park up and continue my work uninterrupted.... or to save energy and possible injury i may just chill at home and slob about in some joggers.

I right fancy a night out, go to a sophisticated bar (so not in luton) have a few pints and mix in a few brandy's or whiskey's before going for a steak meal and then walking home singing frank sinatra's "thats life"

I was told the other day I get management training in a month after signature forger and all-around derp fails his performance review. Now I have a whole weekend off too, to celebrate five years of marriage to the best girl in the world, so we're tidying the living room. XD

So after watching a disc of Cowboy Bebop last night I decided I'd watch a bit of telly for a change. Flicking through the channels and I happened upon BBC4 who were showing "Classic Albums" and by luck would have it it was one from my all time favourite band: Black Sabbath. It made me feel so giddy watching it because it served to remind me just how amazing a band they are.

Then when it finished I noticed that after it was "God Bless Ozzy Osbourne" followed by 2 Eps of "Heavy Metal Brittania", I thought I'd stumbled upon a brilliant night in, but got a last minute call asking if I wanted to go see The Amazing Spiderman (see the "rate the last movie" thread for how that tunred out) and opted to go instead.

Checked the iplayer this morning and all the stuff is up on it and thankfully don't start work til 3:30 today so I'm going to watch that today/tonight. Good times ahead, says I.

I hope the rain stops soon, as the front and back of my house is turning into a mini swimming pool.

Same here as well. Glad I didn't need to go out today :) .

Same here :) Well it has stopped raining here now and the mini swimming pools have also vanished.

Frequenting bathing facilities grants them few favours.

Did anyone else watch that "Japan : fall of the rising sun" programme on BBC 3 earlier? Not really anything I haven't already heard before, but damn it's a grim reminder of just how grim Japan's work culture is. 13 hour days 6 days a week, erhghhh. Japan, stop working your people to death, literally.
