Its only for a week, but hopefully you guys have more people online to talk to and make the working day fly by, ayase and black should make an appearance more often...and i'm still awaiting Skikes' return, i just know the guy will pop up out of nowhere all of a sudden when we least expect it lol.

anyway, take care guys. i'll hope to upload pics on my return, lets hope the plane doesn't do a "LOST" on me :p
 
@Chaz - I've seen eva 1.11 and 2.0 and I might say I'm really enjoying the rebuild of evangelion. If they give it a decent end, it will surely get into my favourite anime list. 2.0 is amazing.


@Tachi - See ya, or maybe not, as I might be off when you return, being the first week at the new job and all that jazz...
 
morning people how are we all? i am bed ridden for the rest of the week recovering. by the way thanks for reminding me about Azumanga Daioh i have been watching it today and i have been laughing my ass off. also might watch battle royale 1 and 2 later as well :D

I'm not so bad today myself. Just getting on with work and making some calls. Looking forward to tonight as I'm going to have my first beer in two weeks! Does that sound a bit sad? lol Mmmm... BEER!! I've not been allowed alcohol due to the medication I'm on at the moment. Tonight will be the first test to see if alcohol will have a bad reaction with my head. I hope not. ¬_¬

Still haven't seen Azumanga Daioh yet. I will at some point like. It's been in my list for freaking ages. I watched the last 6 episodes of Familiar of Zero 2 last night. Some nice easy watching for me. Quite enjoyed it. Other than that I watched an episode of Monoke and read another chapter of Love Hina before falling asleep to Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (my favourite Ghibli Film).

Quite an anime related night actually. :p
 
watched love hina for the first time in ages. really found it funny. do u mind me asking what's the medication for? i hope u are ok dude. me on the other hand feels like he has been stabbed with a hot poker. :cry:
 
I don't envy you as long as you don't envy me mate. I was diagnosed with Cluster-Headaches two weeks ago. I've never felt a pain like it. One minute I'm fine, and the next I'm writhing in agony! As it is rare, the Docs still don't know the cause and there is no cure, so I've been heavily medicated on Hardcore painkillers that you dissolve in your mouth. The worst thing is, half the time the painkillers don't even touch it. TT_TT
 
ouch ok it's offical u have got it worst than i have it. can't remeber the last time i watched a ghibi movie it was howl's moving castle i think. u realise that when u and tachi finish work this theard just dies on it's own until u come back the next day :D

btw drinking beer on rare ocassions isn't too werid. i would know trust :D
 
Hah, I trust mate.

Me and Tachi were seasoned users of the "Million Thread" back when. We used it mostly just for chatting and just used the counting as an excuse. But since people complained about the thread (for some reson), Tachi created this thread and it went from there. There were more of us chatting back then but they've either changed jobs or just moved on.

Tachi's on holiday for a week now so I'll have to do my best to keep the thread going without his steam. o_O

I love my Studio Ghibli's like. It's also one one of the only types of anime I can get my misses to watch (which is a bonus).
 
i remeber how everyone got angry because it was used as a conservation topic thread instead of counting :D by the way haven't seen cg, aion, or skikes around lately. well i used the ghibi studio stuff to get my gf into anime and thankfully it worked. by the bleach update after season 4 i am following it on cruncy roll instead of waiting around for manga to pull their finger out of their ass. :lol: i am 200 epsidoes behind for starters!
 
@Devil - Get well soon and Azumanga is amazing.

@Voddas - Go get Azumanga Daioh now, before it becomes impossible to find as ADV is no more! It's really worth it. Love Hina is not bad in itself.
 
@Chaos: Afternoon mate. Are you refering to the manga or the anime?

@Devil: Just wuish the misses would brouden her horizon with anime though. Besides Ghibli I've only managed to get her to watch Cowboy Bebop, Fullmetal Alchemist (original), The Girl who Lept threw Time and Voice of a Distant Star. It's not a bad selection but it's not great.

Why not try out RomeoxJuliet with your misses, Vod? She seems like someone who isn't a manic action fan, but doesn't mind it if it's a bi-product of another genre. I've not seen it myself, but it's on my "to get" list. Other than that, not much you can do, as I wouldn't push my hobbies onto others.

I'm not pushing anime onto her. I watch it in bed when she's sleeping and sometimes she watches bits and I ask if she wants to see more. Most of the time she says "What the hell re you watching?" like. ANyway, I don't try things on her, she just decides to watch things every now and then. Not that don't get overwelmed with excitment like. Heh.

The Girl who Lept threw Time and Voice of a Distant Star. are perfect films to introduce people to anime i find.

Hello all.

Had quite an interesting day at work, my co-worker bought in a three week kitten into work today, she was found on the road with her mother who sadly died :( , since she's stray my co-worker is going to adopt her, the kitten is so cute ^_^.

Also at work there could be a chance that the American Idol Finalists are going to rehearse here for a gig there doing at Birmingham, it was quite random and surprising to hear it. All of you are welcome if it does happen, you can keep me sane thoughout that day.

Anime wise i'm slowly getting through Death Note.
 
yo where are u at the moment on death note? i lost interest at a certain point which will come obivious when u get there. why is american idol over here anyway? i can just picture u guys playing with the kitten with a ball of string :D

I have no idea why the Ameican Idol peeps are doing it, might be popular over here, I think there also doing photoshoots with three horses or something. Meh could be a laugh.

I'm on Episode 13 on Death Note at the moment, its alright so far but I can see why some people can lost interest with it.
