I get IDed all the time too. It's really annoying because I'm nearly 30, and not that young looking! I even got asked for ID once in a pub when I ordered some still water. They must have been making fun of me or something, or just really strict.

(Oh and while I'm in this topic, reply to CitizenGeek's question which I missed before: I've been to Cork, which was lovely, but I'd like to go again now I'm a little older to do some exploring of some of the rest of Ireland! Hoping my Irish buddy will invite me to see him sometime.)

Morning all. I trust you had a good night. I'm tired again today. Watched episodes 1-8 of Toradora! last night which led to a 3.15am snooze time. Couldn't stop watching it. It's pleasant to watch. ^^
 
Well, i fixed that young lads laptop lastnight...it had restrictions left right and centre, a problem connecting to the internet. somebody had been playing around with it because there was problems with a fair few dll's wasn't nice at all.

In the end i asked him if he had anything worth keeping on it. he said yeah, so it was a case of going into it as an adminitrator (not the user) and in safe mode. and trying to fix it without restrictions.....fixed it so far....but couldn't stop it from messing around with the user profile. So whilst in the admin log in i copied things he needed to my external hard drive, then restored it back to factory settings, called microsoft and sent the PC ID (after changing the ID) and got the Codes to activate the OS. then hooked it upto their internet and downloaded Msn (at request), then left it. working perfectly fine :)

And instead of being paid.....i got a free meal :D

Finishing work at 3.30 today :)

Is it? sorry, I'm a bit pissed because i had to be in at 7 today, which means waking up at 6. Oh, and I can't leave before 6pm :'(

Also, blame cultural differences, but what's offensive on that post? AFAIK ? the overall tone? Just trying to understand...

Curse you and your early finish Tachi. I'm tempted to use my flexi and go home eary today too... it's dead so unless someone else has asked, I'm garunteed. Can't decide on whether to just save it.

I figured out you were messing with me when I've seen the :p when I hit the reply button. I disable images from here to avoid confusino at the office ;)

I may work on a flexi shift but it's no where near as flexible as you'd imagine. It's more flexibe for the company meaning they can send you home if it's quiet and or have you work carzy shifts when it's quiet. It all balances out like.

Your going to a hell hole Ryo? See you in 10 then :p
