The General Conversation Area

Too sunny. There was haze, but aside that there didn't seem to be anything resembling cloud cover for much of today. Summer should know his place, methinks.

Oh, I know those places, although the bridge on the top left wasn't finished when I've left town.

"Entrar na bicha pra pegar o cacetinho" in Portugal's portuguese means to get in line to buy bread and in Brazilian portuguese it means to have a homosexual relationship. And nope, I'm not making this up.

lmfao thats just bizarre 0_o
yeah, very bizarre =)

Morning all,

i'm knackered....but stayin up till 1.30 to watch oceans 12 was worth it :D
(love the Ocean 11-13 films)

Bought new trousers for work.....decided that i don't like em....so using my normal trousers :thumb: cut the tag off so i can't take em back :(

How was peoples weekends?

Not bad Chaos :)

Thursday: Went for a carvery, then off to town and had a great time, (pics on facebook)

Friday: Woke up earlier than i'd have normally wanted, but had to enrol at college (Cisco networking tonight....abit nervous) spent the day watching NFL then going into town and meeting up with ali and leo and walking round looking at prices for holidays,

Sat: Me and Ben went to town and looked round at clothes (for Him going to Uni and me for work trousers and cool socks), met up with leo after he finished work. bought the last of the things we all needed and then leo went home and me and ben went round bens and played our last game of monster hunter unite.

Sunday: Woke up and watched harry potter, then indiana jones (crystal skull), then a load of other films, including Dumb and Dumber, Ace Ventura, IronMan, Oceans 12. and basically relaxed all day with custard creams and hot chocolate ^_^

Then back in work today and realised "i need to get my sis a bday card and some money for when i get home tonight then extra money to get to and from college.....bollocks) typical that i leave it till the actual bday to get sorted ;D

Well.....in here is really busy ¬_¬

Yeah, mine isn't working properly either and I want to IM some people the video where Kanye West ruined Taylor Swift's award acceptance. "BUT BEYONCE HAD ONE OF THE BEST VIDEOS OF ALL TIME."

Look up and down the random and music boards while it's still being discussed. Not the most prolific of events, but there's still a notable response.

So does anyone have Bernard's watch or some other device that I could use to stop time? I would find it really useful if I could borrow it for just a little bit please ^_^

Get in line....i've wanted that watch for a long time :(
For starters i'd wake up everyday and stop time, go back to sleep and then wake up later on when i've fully rested and starting time again.

and i'd fast forward days like today that are cold and horrible, making sure that we all have sunshine everyday of the week....just means that i'll have to fast forward 12 years because we only have a summer that lasts a month at best ;)

never heard of the show. quick search shows me it was a british TV sample, so it makes sense I've never heard of it, with me not being british and all... =P

Morning Black, everyone. I have a bugger of a sore throat actually, and business is pretty slow in September it seems. Other than that I'm okay.

My time machine wouldn't be of much use to you, I don't imagine. You'd only cause paradoxes with it anyway...

Stopping time would be great for traveling. I'd travel to an airport, watch until a plane to somewhere I wanted to go was just about to close it's doors, stop time, then go find a spare seat. And then do the same at the other end to get out. Air travel without all the hoops they make you jump through. Or paying anything.

I imagine it would be fairly easy to use Bernard's Watch to achieve complete world domination actually...

However, once you unfroze time, if someone shot you from behind you would not be able to freeze time & avoid the bullet in time.
