Well, I've watched two episodes dubbed without checking the subs yet, and I think Kino's voice is great but Hermes sounds a bit evil. Upon checking, you're right. I wonder why they changed his voice so much.

Not sure what I'll watch now, I've already grown to like Kino's english voice.
 
Oh come on, as with any sub/dub question the answer is..... it depends.

Some series are better subbed, some dubbed....just depends on how good the dubbing crew is.
 
I think it is equally important how good the voice casting director is. Plenty of bad dubs have very competent voice actors simply miscast to a particular character.
 
WRT Nando's: I love Nando's, last thursday we wne to a local pub called the moat house, the place was heaving so we left, walked up a hill to the hungry horse. the kitchen was on fire :(

So went to town and went to good old Nando's for the win.
Half a chicken is a bargain and you get the most chicken this way (tried and tested :p ) extra hot, with peri peri salt on the chips and garlic bread :thumb: Its lovely and most of us guys only wince when ben applies the XXX hot sauce on his chicken.

Also....anyone looking to abuse a loop in the system....order a superbock (beer) and ask for a glass....then use the glass to get yourself unlimited refills on soft drinks. it saves you paying extra for the glass :p


Most importantly....i need peoples opinions.....What should i have for lunch? something filling that will hold its own against the barrage of drink intended for tonight.
(friends 18th and its results day so plenty reason to celebrate)

sub - I don't have much love for the dubs in it. As Ayase said, the dub for Kino is good, hermes isn't. The rest of the cast is not as great as well, so sub for me.

WRT* Nando's. chicken and spicy stuff. I just love it!

Morning all.
@Tachi - Something dry probably, that can also be filling. I'd suggest the likes of things with bread, naanbread, potatoes (less effective with mash, as it has milk/butter put in)...
So burgers will have some bread with it, sandwiches, a small curry with naanbread, jacket potatoes or new potatoes would be my guess anyways.

urgh someone come and take the sun away please. its reflecting off a window across the road, through our window and directly into my eyes, its only where i sit in my desk aswell (the desk curves in a S shape) looking round the office with a dirty great big green/white/red dot wherever i look.

There's one name anime licencees want to look at here, Andrea Romano. She's been casting US cartoons for about 25 years...including the current DC Animated line and has yet to choose anyone wrong....given that she has mostly cast those most sacred of holy cows (superheroes) the fact that people think the voices fit is a credit to her.

Although.....that said...I was once watching Batman: The Animated Series with a flatmate....he sat there...watched the style...and after about 5 minutes went "This is good...but have you got the sub?"

Morning. When I were in a situation like that, I used sunglasses at the office, until my boss came over and moved me to a better desk. Give it a try! =D

Left my gigs round bens house 2 days ago :/

And just been looking at enrollment to.......college lmao my mates are all fcuking off to Uni and i'm going to spend roughly the same amount of time but in college :p

Cisco networking and going in for my CompTIA A+ at the end of the month. meaning my mondays and tuesday are goin to be used up on college and hopefully i'll learn something new. the only thing i learnt from the last course was that the teachers believed i went in for the wrong course and should have jumped straight to the A+ :( if i'd have known the intermediate diploma was such a walk through then i'd have gone for the A+ from the off :/

Are you really into networking Tachi?

I find it really boring, but well, that's me.
I also find it easier for guys in networking to become managers than the lowly programmers.

But then again, you can find a job at google and have loads of fun with network =)

Also, I hear experts in Cisco have nice pay checks, but same can be said for any new technology on demand.

and the trollyness... i don't know. i was just called it one day(friggin polls ¬_¬) and tbh i don't really know what one needs to do to be one so i just assumed i was one lol
